This was my first time going to Escape and I am overwhelmed with the service I was provided. This was by far my best experience in a hair salon. I was assigned to Ainslee and she did a wonderful job. A bit more pricier than just a regular haircut from somewhere random, but I can assure you that those extra few bucks arent going to waste. I just happened to be at the mall and they were able to take me right away for a walk in. I had busted nails before and needed them removed before I got the new set, I was surprised to find they do not soak your nails of I just happened to be at the mall and they were able to take me right away for a walk in. Where I do see where this can be painful, it did not hurt me and they came off quickly. The woman who was doing my nails would even stop after every nail to ask me if I was okay or if it was hurting, so I’m sure she would soak them off if it did hurt.\nI asked for a very simple spring floral design that I saw on Instagram and she got it down almost exactly, except I changed the colors of the flowers and rhinestones.\nAlthough it was on the pricier side, I know I would’ve faced the same prices at any other salon. Linda is amazing. I had a hydrating facial and my skin felt like it was brand new afterwards. Very pleasant atmosphere and small so you felt it more personal. I had a perm and trim and Sandy was fast and efficient, giving me much needed guidance and knowledge. Will definitely go back.

WOW!!! Kelly is a freaking hair goddess!! So, I went a little nuts and decided to be my own hair stylist at home. I attempted balayage and well, I turned my roots orange and ugly. She seems very experienced and is now my top person to go. I finally found the one!! Also love how they use Guy Tang’s line for hair colors. They look great! My wife, our 18 months son , and I took a walk tonight on the river walk in downtown. While my wife was taking a picture of our son , she dropped her phone . She got so upset and started crying because she has her family pictures ( which they live in Germany) , and our only son’s videos since birth . The phone landed on the pillar underneath the bridge . There is literally no access to that pillar. I didn’t know whom to call . I told her there is a very slim chance that we might get it. We walked across the street to the Fire Department off Grand Ave and Shiawassee. A gentleman asked us if we need help , and went to talk to his crew . They were very kind , respectful and professional, they told us they will be there with tools within few minutes . Two ladies and a gentleman got there and tried so hard to get the phone without dropping it in the river since it was sitting right on the edge of the pillar. Despite the insanitary of the place , they went above and beyond laying down , leaning and squeezing their body against the bridge foundation in a very tight spaces . They worked like an amazing team and managed to get the phone . My wife started crying again out of happiness this time . Just want to say how grateful and thankful my family and I tonight and everyday for everything you guys do to the community. You guys made our night and I am pretty sure everyday you make someone else’s day too . more ... less ...

It was stressful getting asked multiple times how I wanted my nails, since I had already brought in an inspiration photo showing exactly the shape and color. After showing this picture (then more to reinforce and hope there wouldn’t be a miscommunication) the shape was still not what I wanted. I felt guilty having to ask again for what I wanted when she started shaping them, and I tried to be as polite as possible. However, I noticed that I ended up being the only one at the manicure tables who did not get a back/neck massage. It was not a busy time, and I paid for the most expensive manicure option (dip), so I do not know why I did not receive the same service as every other customer present. He listens and also understand different kinds of hair needs different kinds of care. He looks at your face shape and matches the style to it. He does not force the style to your face.\n\nDuring COVID they are taking all the precautions necessary so support your stylist and get your hair taken care of. I have seen him snap at other employees and has told me I needed to “calm down my dear” when I objected to him charging me extra for an online order where they did not have the product I had ordered and paid for online and they switched to a more expensive brand. He has also attempted to sell me drastically more expensive perm rods claiming the ones I had would not work correctly when they are specifically made for perming. This is the most amazing place. My wife and I recently purchased a Thor Chateau 24F motorhome in Arizona, (our winter home) We plan to commute as snowbirds. My wife and I recently purchased a Thor Chateau 24F motorhome in Arizona, (our winter home) We plan to commute as snowbirds. In the middle of nowhere Canada, our brand new Ford 7.3L Ford broke its power steering pump pressure hose. Fords customer service program is an absolute nightmare!! we couldnt find help anywhere and the Alaskan Ford dealers refuse to work on motor homes. Our tow truck driver told us about Great Alaskan Holidays so I called and spoke to Matt Miller, their General parts and service manager, and he said to have it towed in and he would help us out. Even though ours was a competitive brand to theirs, they treated us like we were their best customer. Matt arranged for me to meet their general manager and their owner to discuss the problems I was having with Ford. They were also surprised at Fords lack of service in Alaska. To try to keep this brief, they intervened with Ford and took care of our problem with the ford engine. During this whole process, Ford Motor Co, realized what an awesome business Great Alaskan Holidays was and negotiated and appointed GAH to be their authorized Ford motorhome chassis warranty outlet for all motorhomes in Alaska. I cant say enough good things about Matt, Bryan their GM, and Darrel their owner!! I would give them a 10 or 12 on a scale of 1 to 5!!! If their were more businesses with their level of customer service,... it would be a much better word. God bless them!! more ... less ...
