I patiently waited for her to finish another customer and politely asked for her too talk to me away from other so she wouldn’t feel embarrassed. I explained why I didn’t want to pay and to leave. She said ok. A few mins later I get a phone call saying I have too pay or the cops will be called! And that she was for warned I was a “bad customer” and she’s “not surprised we had a bad experience”. Samantha and the owner jasmine both were extremely rude while telling me I had to pay. I offered to pay for the products used but not the service. I had two different stylists tell me the job was sloppy, done wrong, fried hair, and not what I asked for. Not too mention Samantha did a Malibu treatment AFTER my bleach because she “realized later” I had too much “iron” in my hair. Which I might have but you do not use a Malibu after a bleach. I’m a female with fairly short hair and went here because they take walk-ins. New in town so didn’t know what to expect, and my first time going to a barbershop rather than a salon. New in town so didn’t know what to expect, and my first time going to a barbershop rather than a salon. Cheapest haircut I’ve ever had and they did exactly what I asked for, and did it fast! I had a weird request and they still did a great job. 10/10 would recommend! Good atmosphere and nice staff also. Don’t know if they do regular woman’s styles, as it is a barbershop and I didn’t see any other woman there; would probably call ahead to ask just to be safe. I had a consultation, shown a photo of how I would like my hair, but a little longer. We argreed to a price and time to have my hair cut, and permed like the photo. Hopefully it will hold up after a good washing. The cut is nothing like the photo. She cut my hair straight across before perming. After perm, she cut a few curls. Not even shaping or bang trimmed. And a few drops of product. A quick blow with the hairdryer. And spun me around to look at the back. Time was 2 hours in and done asked how I was paying cash or credit. Paid with gift card and the remaining cash. And was sent on my way. Husband disappointed on price of a Solon price($200 ($100 gift card, $100 cash) and it’s not even what was like the photo. But stylist was nice and kind. But it is heartbreaking. more ... less ...
