My mother and I had been to this salon a few times. Service was okay. I went last week to get fills & a pedicure. Elaine, the owner always rushes. My appt was at 12:00. I showed her what I needed. I showed her what I needed. Of course she had to do it at the same time that I was getting my pedicure. She was rushing & I knew she was booked completely. Her 1:00 walked in & she told her to pick a color. When I showed her the photo again she yelled at me. No joke. Raised her voice to let her do her job. In the end she made a worse mistake. When she realized what had happened, She looked at me with surprise. I will never go back. She was rude to my mother & spoke negatively about my mother. I was shocked. I left with a horrible job & quick design in the wrong fingers & looked so horrible! more ... less ...

The stylist left a bunch of huge clumps of glue, and even though I was super careful, barely so much as touched them and got them removed professionally, they completely destroyed my natural lashes. I lost about half of my lashes and the ones that are left are super short. The stylist who removed them was shocked and felt so bad she couldnt do more to save my lashes. Please learn from my mistake and dont just assume youre fine because the salon has good reviews; research your specific stylist too. more ... less ...

Place is very clean and they are making sure that they their customers are 6 feet apart. My issue is that cost its overpriced and you dont get much out of the amount that you pay $12 extra for gel is ridiculous and when I requested to go with the standard pedicure the lady who was doing my manicure started laughing as if that was funny when I spent over $60 and my nails look like they have been done for 2 weeks and I went on Friday of last week. I was trying to support a local business but I know shops in different cities that charge way more reasonable price for the same exact services and they dont laugh at their customers when they dont want to go with an overpriced service. Also only wanting customers to use zelle or other apps to send payment which was an an inconvenience to me so I was charged an extra dollar for you to just simply run my card I will never return to that to this place again and I will definitely make sure that I spread the word that this is an overpriced nail salon. more ... less ...

My toe nail got infected here and I never ever got an infection at a nail salon. Second owner was very rude! After getting my full set done they had me dry my nails by air and told me to wait for a couple minutes, after 30 minutes I told them thank you and left once I got into my car my nails were not dried and messed up. I had to do this three times repeatedly. On the third time I stayed at the air dryer for 1hr to make sure and still when I left they were not nice little spots on the nails had came off. The nails only lasted a week and a half. This place is cheap but not worth an infection and bad nails. But here they just quickly buff the nail before application, and mainly soak off the manicure when removing. The salon is also peaceful and quiet, and very clean. Then she switched to a second nail tech and she kept leaving me while doing my manicure. It was very unprofessional and very upsetting. I have cuts around some of my nails because how aggressive she was with my nails. The second nail tech left to start another costumer while my nails where not. After that horrific experience, I went to pay in the front and the nail tech in the front kept bending my credit card. It was a very weird and terrible experience. Dont come here!! more ... less ...

I was also greeted by Ms. Christie, Ms. Adelita, Ms. Stephanie (the Esthetician), Ms. Monakia or Seria (cant remember who did my sisters mani-pedi). ALL were so amazing, accommodating, and amazing. If you want the best service for your Hair Care, Cutting Care, Color Care, Skin Care, Thermal Care, Nail Care, and Perm Care look NO further, Salon Success Academy is the place to provide those services.I highly recommend visiting this place. They have the big salon chairs with massagers and tons of colors. Afterwards I got a full set with the gentleman that works there (not sure of his name) and he did such a great job shaping them. Not too thick or too thin and they’re not crooked!! Then Michelle painted them and she was so nice. She did a great job making my polish look even, even though it was a little hard to work with. In total $32 for the full set w/ regular polish because they’re a little longer and coffin shaped but I didn’t mind because I really liked them. Will definitely be back!! more ... less ...
