Made an appt for my mom and I for pedicures. They took her first and then took me when my moms pedi was almost done and an hour after our appt time when I specifically requested that we get ours together. My moms pedicure was great and mine was horrible. I got the cheapest pedi and my person either didnt get my cuticles or its not included in the basic package. My feet were just as calloused when done and even dryer than before I went in. My mom and I are on vacation and Ive been looking forward to getting a pedi for months. Im on disability income and cant afford to go get another one. I was so disappointed I cried a little bit once I was alone. My moms pedicure was great though. more ... less ...

Love this place! I went in to get a no-chip manicure and it was so worth it. The nail technician was very sweet - recommended me a handful of off-white neutrals that I was looking for. Very nice!!

Excellent Nails is tucked away in an unassuming strip mall and I was hesitant at first because I dont know this part of SD county very well, and the salon looked empty at mid-day. However, because I knew I would not have to wait, I went in and decided to try it out. I am SO happy I came here! Lu An was my Nail Technician and she is super detail-oriented. I wanted my tips reshaped to an almond shape since they were starting to grow out and their current shape was a little too spikey for my lifestyle. I feel like she really listened to me and knew right away what I would like. When I told her I wanted the cat-eye/magnetic gel she suggested a color and accent-nail design I wouldnt originally go for-- but I had a good feeling about her talent so i trusted her and went with it! I absolutely loved how my nails turned out!!!!! I will be going back in a couple weeks to get a fill and see what other design ideas Lu-An has up her sleeve! Go see her! Seriously! more ... less ...

This place has been renovated much nicer than Annies nails! I love my pedicures with Lee she takes her time so if you’re in a hurry this is not the place for you. I just moved to the area and it was my first time at the nail salon. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and given a wait time. Trust me, its important!). I had 3 people work on my nails. One person did my toes (polish only), someone else did my acrylic, and Anna finished up with my gel polish/nail art. I love the team work and everyone seemed to be invested in the final outcome. Everyone was very clean and santitary during each service. All tools were sanitized and counters and surfaces were wiped down between each client that came in. Barbicide certificates were also on display and up to date. Regardless, she communicated effectively and asked lots of questions to cater to what I was looking for. The pricing is fair. Despite being speedy, the attention to detail is on point. Ive been going here for several months now and am so happy to have found this hidden treasure. She remembers how I like the water temperature and what I like to watch on the TV (AGT reruns). She doesnt rush through the pedicure or rush me out the door when shes done. Cindy and Le are both amazing. I came in for a gel manicure and their top pedicure which is over an hour but they close at 5 and I got there at 4:30. Le explained to me their passion for their craft and how he really takes his pride in the professionalism and most importantly the CLEANLINESS of their salon. He told me that once a pedicure is done they are supposed to clean the tub and wait 15 so it can sterilize..how many times have you gone into a salon and plop you in a chair after someone was just in it. He explained how clients arent educated in the protocols of what they should look for and ask. Definitely recommending this place you everyone! more ... less ...
