Find best hair and nail salon in Manchester , CT

If I’m paying close to $60 for a pedicure I would expect to get the full service. I’m never coming back here again. I asked to get my feet grated because I pole dance and I wear 7 inch heels half the week. So I If I’m paying close to $60 for a pedicure I would expect to get the full service. So If I say my feet are dry/callous then they they are. ofcourse they don’t seem dry after just being soaked in water for 10 minutes. As they are my feet and I am with them 24/7 I think I would know. But to be refused the same service as everyone else when I legit asked why a step is missing let alone the fact another customer walked in and my right side of my foots cuticles were cut in 20 seconds (which I hardly felt by the way) when my left side was done with care and around 1-2 minutes is super unsatisfying. Pedicures aren’t hard I prefer to pay to get em done because I have acrylic nail and I assumed it would be done by the book or at least how it was done the last time I came in or at ANY salon I go to tbh.. why skip a step if I’m paying for the full service. I could care less about polish I mainly wanted my feet scrubbed grated and dead skin removed is that not part of the service if not then take the signs down please or try not to pick and choose when to actually follow the steps of your services. I don’t feel like I asked for alot. I tip well everytime I get my nails done and I did not this time because why would I asked a simple request and was denied I didn’t ask if you thought my feet were dry I simply wanted the full service. I came here as the salon across the street was appointment only. Very friendly woman, extremely over priced for very poor quality. Worse pedicure I have ever gotten, actually had to return because she hadn’t removed I came here as the salon across the street was appointment only. Not surprising with the overused foot pumice used. Upon my return she told me that that was the best she could do... finger nail polish and a 15 min pedicure $50, and I still have to go somewhere else to re do it. It was completely rushed and I didnt even have my nails done for 3 days before one broke off and one I had to cut off because it was lifting. I cant believe these people are in business! I got a pedicure & manicure along with the lavender massage & exfoliation add on for my feet. Everything was done in such a timely manner. And my nails came out AMAZING!!! I was even given a neck massage while waiting for my nails to dry! By far the best experience i have ever had in any nail salon Ive ever been too. Will definitely be returning! The absolute most disgusting, unprofessional salon in CT!! My sister and I went in for a gel manicure after our cousin recommended the salon. We understand accidents happen so they continued on.\n\nIn the middle of applying the gel the woman switched seats with the male technician next to us and he continued the manicure...what happens next is appalling!! My sisters thumb is bleeding pretty bad from the clippers and this gross person uses his dirty bare finger to wipe away her blood! He continues applying gel and wiping away her blood with his fingers and paper towl, meanwhile getting visibly frustrated with my sister and rushing the manicure as if it wasnt their fault this happened in the first place!!\n\nAT ONE POINT HE GRABS NAIL GLUE PREPARING TO USE THAT TO GLUE SHUT MY SISTERS WOUND!!!\n\nShe had to verbally say \"No I dont want that\" to stop a tragedy since he clearly has no common sense.\n\nIn the end after a rushed, messy manicure and traumatizing experience the lady had the audacity to try and charge her full price! They lowered it $10 only after my sister expressed her disbelief but that experience wasnt worth a penny! Needless to say I took my nails elsewhere.\n\nWe mistakenly didnt read reviews or we would have seen the bad experiences of some on here and the unprofessional responses from the shop. I went to the salon for a pedicure and a fill with designs. I previously made an appointment via phone for services with Lee, but I wasnt informed about Lee no longer working there until I got there. Id never had issues before so I figured the owner could handle it since I had come to this nail several times in the past. I was definitely mistaken and youll see that in THE PICS IM POSTING AT THE END. I got my fill and pedicure done on Christmas eve morning by the owner/tech in charge with long dark hair that sits on the left wall in the middle, and a week later my toes were infected. I thought something was weird because that night my toes were itching and after 30 years of getting my nails done this was a first.\n\nI just got back to CT a few days ago and decided to go into the shop as I knew shed remember me because I called her back in January to let her know my feet were infected. As soon as I walked in, she had a major attitude. I was trying to give her the benefit of a doubt in caring, but she actually just helped me make my decision on posting the pics of the damage she did to my feet.\n\nThe pics follow, and please stay away from this salon. I’ve been going to Lin for a year or so and I’ve kept her as a reliable, affordable, and quality nail art technician. She’s phenomenal. As someone that struggles with anxiety (& often times take it out on I’ve been going to Lin for a year or so and I’ve kept her as a reliable, affordable, and quality nail art technician. She’s phenomenal. As someone that struggles with anxiety (& often times take it out on their nails) she’s always been non-judgmental with her approach. She was able to relate and still give me the quality service I deserved. I’ve gone too so many other places where the nail technician took one look at my hands and snickered off in a different language to other technicians in the room & then would proceed to ask me about it. The stylists know you and greet you by name. Also, time is taken with you- I have never felt rushed or unimportant. Consistently pleased.
