I’ve left happy before (a few years ago) well boy was I wrong! I have the most horrible, uneven “balayage” color. It is blotchy in places. And it is ORANGE. It’s so terrible that I haven’t taken my hair out of a bun since getting it done! I have an appt at another salon to get it fixed. I went on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The spa wasnt very crowded, which was nice. I spent time in the steam room, hot tub, meditation room and had a passion fruit mimosa in the lobby. The womans locker room is equipped with pretty much anything you may need for showering and getting ready to go back out into the world. I also had a Signature massage. My therapist did a good job except I was disappointed that toward the end, she didnt massage the front of my arms. Overall it was very expensive but worth it for the stress relief, which I really needed. Its a charming and beautiful old building and the grounds are beautiful as well. It has an interesting history. In nicer weather, there are plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy it. I recommend giving it a try. more ... less ...

Absolutely horrible! Do not waste your money ! Today my friend and I went to get our nails filled and we wanted the gel polish and a little flower design on our ring fingers . They wanted to charge $18 for the fill , $15 Absolutely horrible! Do not waste your money ! They wanted to charge $18 for the fill , $15 just for gel polish , $5 to take off my gel polish , $3 to cut down our nails and $5 and up for a design on one finger! So we went with regular polish and no designs . When I first sat down the lady asked if I wanted my eyebrows done. I said no thank you I actually just did them . She said ok then a few moments later asked me again. I said no, i do them myself , I dont like people close to my face like that. She kind of gave me a weird look. She then was cutting ny nails down and even taking the polish off she was burning my nail and scraping my cuticle . My friends lady did the same to her as well. It was a awful experience. We will never go there again! The guy was nice trying to make conversation but the older lady who did my nails was rude and hurt my fingers very bad ! If I were just going off of Customer Service, I would have given a higher rating. The nail tech, or the owner, was very nice and very professional. Never in my life have a paid that much for acrylic. On her board it said acrylic fills for $30 and up. I definitely got the up!. She charge me for every last thing she did including my almond nail shape, and the gel polish that she said cost an additional $15. So either she played me and ripped me off completely because I was new and she didn’t think I’d be back, or she really charges those ridiculous prices. Maybe if the acrylic was made out of gold and the nails came out outstanding I wouldn’t be so mad. But they’re already chipping and that is A shame. I would have gone back to try a pedicure but that is clearly not happening. So beware. more ... less ...

I must say that I loved my nails when I was going to Susan. She was personable and talented with her work and I liked it. However trying to get ahold of them was nearly impossible. However trying to get ahold of them was nearly impossible. They don’t take phone calls, and their voicemail is always full so there was no possibility of leaving a message to get a call back. You can only message them through IG or FB to schedule or reschedule an appointment. And even then it takes a while to hear back. Very inconvenient. Then the cherry on top was when I informed Susan I wouldn’t be able to come for a couple of months. My son was going to school for the first time so I wasn’t sure about finances. When I messaged her on IG she said she’d be happy when I came back. But when I messaged her only THREE days later to tell her it turned out I could keep coming back, she never responded. I sent a couple of messages to make an appointment after that and got no response. Then all of a sudden the shop makes a post that they’re no longer taking new clients. I messaged on FB to ask her if she was considering me a new client and to let me know either way. Still no response. Then I found out from another client of hers that they were moving locations and that they only kept a certain amount of clients. That’s not professional at all to me and I lost all respect for her business. Maybe for her choice clients she treats them differently and therefore by all means go. But I regret continuously trying to contact the shop. There I was begging to give them business when I WAS a client, or so I thought. In my opinion that’s not how you treat those supporting your business. All it takes is communication and that would’ve shown respect. That didn’t happen. I now go to a shop that’s just as good and who treats ALL their clients respectfully. For that reason I wouldn’t tell anyone to go. To me work ethic is just as important as nice nails. more ... less ...
