I strolled in as well as the person who greeted me informed me to choose a nail color from just the glass containers (despite the fact that it looked like all of them were glass, absolutely nothing was identified because of this). After selecting the shade I desired, I beinged in the chair I was told to being in. n nI waited a little bit but was also early to make sure that was easy to understand. The manicure ultimately began, as well as I was asked a few concerns. Iliana was a little difficult to understand, however absolutely nothing I couldnt ask for more clarity on. She went ahead and clipped and submitted my nails, and after that soaked each hand after. I did value the good hand as well as wrist massage therapy. I promise I was resting there for a good 5-10 minutes just viewing her attempting to make it stop. While I do value her initiatives, she applied a lot alcohol and also some leading coat over the wound, which I do not think was proper or hygienic. n nI ultimately asked if I might have every one of the gloss eliminated off the other nails, because I didnt desire 9 of my 10 fingers repainted as well as was truthfully ready to leave at that point. After the polish was eliminated, I was offered the front (where I lastly got a band-aid for the injury). The supervisor claimed they were sorry which I might come back in a couple of days to have it "done best ". They did not bill me for this manicure (which I appreciate), and while I appreciate the view to have them try once again, I do not intend on returning to this beauty parlor for any solutions. I will never come here again. I was one of 4 people getting a pedicure at the time and they were not consistent. I did not get any sort of foot or leg massage whatsoever and others did. The woman doing my nails clearly didn’t want to be, and was very short and harsh. She hurt me several times. She also got mad when my toe was too close to the others. Sorry I don’t have control over how my body is??? She also kept sighing heavily. The entire pedicure took 12 minutes (seriously). What a joke. Do not go here. My normal salon is infinitely better.\n\nUpdate: now that I’m out of the salon and got a good look at my 12 minute pedicure- it’s awful. I called to make an appt for noon on a Saturday. I walked in and the place was 100000% empty…on a Saturday. He didn’t wet my nails, he was rough with the cuticle pusher and my nails are streaky AF. He was SO rushed. But again, there was NOBODY in there. And then when I had to pay he told me he didn’t want to take my debit card because there would be a fee on his end so he told me I needed to use the ATM pay their fee instead. Like what? So yeah. $30 for EXACTLY 10 minutes and a terrible file job. Won’t be going back to this place.\nNo wonder they were completely empty. more ... less ...

Megan repeatedly reassured me that she would be able to achieve what I was asking for in one session. When the day of the appointment came she was in a hurry just to get me out the door. I came home and saw that the blending was patchy and after 2 washes my hair was bright orange. I contacted Meghan letting her know that I was unhappy with the result I got for $200. She told me to come in for a redo which would cost an additional $50. I trusted her enough to give her a second chance. After I came home from the redo session my hair dried to reveal a hideous mess of ashy grey stripes mixed in with brassy orange patches. I shared my pictures with Meghan and told her she did not do a good job and that I could not come back in for another $50 redo. She said she would discuss the issue with her boss and get back to me. She messaged me back to let me know that their policy only allows redos, for which the client must pay $50, and no refunds. I was devastated because I paid $250 for something that looked like it was done at home by an amateur. Megan disappeared after I told her that she should’ve been responsible enough to tell me what I wanted could not be achieved in one session. I went back to the salon to talk in person but she was not there. Instead, the salon owner, Janelle, had the nerve to call me that evening threatening to call the police on me if I tried to see Megan at work again. First, a client should never have to pay for a redo to fix what the stylist did wrong. Second, the stylist should not run away from their mistakes and hide behind a hostile owner. She had made appointments for two other people during the same time as our appointment 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m sorry but my nails looks nothing like the picture and my original nail tech could’ve done a way better job for a little bit more money. I would’ve gone there if they would be able to take 3 people but they couldn’t. The owner also was taking the other lady before my aunt had even gotten her nails started. When I had called she never told me there would only be 2 people working!!!! I could’ve called a professional place for the same price but I didn’t take the appointment because there was only 2 people working. I’m disappointed I wanted to like them. First, the technician cut both of my big toe nails too short. It actually hurt when she cut them and continued to hurt for over a week. She and her colleagues were laughing and having conversations that were at an inapproriate sound level for patrons who were attempting to relax, read, or check messages. I do believe I received such a poor quality pedicure because my technician was too busy socializing and not paying attention to what she was doing. When I got home, I also realized that the technician missed painting parts of a few nails. Ive never posted a poor review of any business establishment (and Im 62) until today! more ... less ...

I was going to star nails for over ten years. I usually went to Chi but everyone seemed to do a good job and I was very pleased. However, I stopped going since they raised their prices and Chi left the salon. It costs 50 I was going to star nails for over ten years. It costs 50 dollars for a gel fill with gel nail polish and it used to be $40. In addition, they started charging $5 for just cutting down your nails which usually people do every time they get a fill. You can go to many other nail salons for much cheaper. I now go to Chi at a different salon. It is a very nice, clean, and friendly salon however not worth the prices they charge. more ... less ...

I gave two stars because the location was very clean, staff was friendly, and some services were great (massage, warm towels) as far as the manicure went my manicure was awful. The gel polish was so thin to the point you can see under to my nail, I choose a dark green and there just was not enough coats applied, they did not shape my nails well and they thinned out my nails too much, lastly they did not properly do the cuticle work and I was left with messy nails and nail beds. Mainly upset because it will now take a while for me to get my nails back to the shape they were in before going here.\nThankfully my friend received a decent manicure, she used black so I think that helped and her technician did better. more ... less ...
