I came to this salon as spur of the moment due to schedule issues with where I normally go. Anyway, I called this salon they were able to take me in with no appointment. The Tech was kind however didnât engage in conversation when I attempted to talk with her. When she was done I was satisfied and grateful for it being so last minute. When I asked how much she said $32.54 so I handed her a $50 bill which left her a nice tip. However, as I was sitting in my car getting ready to leave the tech came out and said she forgot to add on the $10 for a âspecialâ base polish she put on which brought the total to $42.54. I was confused as to why she stood there wanting more money when she still wouldâve had a decent tip. Regardless, of this all I gave her an extra $5 as I know times are hard. When I went in to confirm this the owner said how the special polish wasnât charged and she needed more money despite knowing I gave her $50. When I called and spoke with the owner about how I didnât short her tech she said, âshe expected a better tip.â Well that threw me off and despite taking me with no appointment I will not be going back here as they are over priced and expect a high tip which is ridiculous especially since their price brochure and no where in the salon shows extra for a base coat that the lady didnât even put on all my nails yet got charged $10 more.
