My 15 year old daughter and I always get our nails done together but today she didn’t want to. Instead, when I went to go get my nails she grabbed a chair to sit by me. When she did, the owner, Kay, screamed at her in front of all the customers and said she wasn’t allowed to grab the chair. She embarrassingly grabbed and put it back. After standing for over half an hour, the lady doing my nails told my daughter that she could grab a different kind of chair to sit next to me. She grabbed it and sat beside me. After sitting for about 5 minutes, the owner came over to my daughter began hitting the chair with the broom yelling about how she previously told my daughter not to grab the chair. My daughter quickly responded “The lady said I could grab this different chair, don’t scream at me, i’m a client and should be treated so accordingly” and she kept repeating “I’m the owner my store my rules”. I replied “You’re not her mom to yell at her.” Another male worker got involved and started yelling at us from across the salon to get out the store. I told him “No one called you into the conversation, I’d be more than happy to leave this store and never come back.” So that’s what we did. You will be surprised how difficult it is to find a good nail salon with value, integrity, professionalism, and just plain friendly. Well, I hit the JACKPOT because this salon offers ALL OF THAT. This is a family owned business. I had the pleasure of going to the lovely Micki, who did a wonderful job on my dip powder nails and my gel pedicure. I walked out of there so happy and my nails and toes look gorgeous! Her husband, Calvin, is also wonderfully talented and just as nice and professional. Most importantly, they offer an array of services not just nails. Check this place out and see what Im talking about. Cozy, not too mainstream that theyre overbooked, but enough that they definitely have a stream of customers. Excellent service, not at all rude. My nails looked amazing!

I have been coming to this a salon for many years as I live in the neighborhood and I am not in the habit of writing reviews but they deserve it! Katie does an amazing job with my eye brows and my daughters eye brows too I have been coming to this a salon for many years as I live in the neighborhood and I am not in the habit of writing reviews but they deserve it! Katie does an amazing job with my eye brows and my daughters eye brows too and i dont always get my nails done there as i have a private tech but when i do they always looks good. (Alex does and amazing job) As for the negative reviews I do believe there is always room for improvement and this salon employs new staff and or new to the industry nail techs so bare in mind that you can be serviced by someone who may still be in the process of perfecting their craft. So if you arent satisfied speak up so they can fix it. I wouldnt say they are rude however there may be a language barrier as to where one may not know how to respond to and un happy customer. I wouldnt call that rude and owners have a right to a zero tolerance for disrespect as i have witnessed customers down talking them at times which isnt called for. No one is perfect and we sometimes need to be patient as these people work very hard to make a living servicing us. I hope this helps!! more ... less ...

When i got there they were trying to push gel polish asking \"why arent you getting gel\" and I dont get gel because I have my own lamp and can do gel Made me leave with wet nails. Why would I pay $20 more when i can do it myself right? And so he finished painting my nails and was like \"Okay youre done\" and shuts off the fan right after. I said \"but my nails arent dry\" he said \"Yeah they arent because you didnt get gel just be careful when you leave\". So I left with wet nails and was not allowed to dry my nails because I didnt get gel???? Im still paying to get my nails done. Extremely unprofessional. Ive never had a salon push gel polish on me so hard and ive never been kicked out of a salon with wet nails. more ... less ...

I made an appointment for an acne facial cleansing to treat myself on my birthday. I’m so glad I made this decision. This was such a precious birthday gift to myself. I stopped in yesterday for a pedicure, nails and lashes and it was by far the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had in any salon ever! I paid $53 just for a gel pedicure and my toe is so sore today I can’t put my shoe on but that’s not even the reason for the complaint. If I could give negative stars or zero I would. After getting my pedicure I go sit to get my nails done. I get dipping powder and the guy doesn’t even remove the old powder but instead puts an acrylic fill and proceeds to paint on top of the powder. The color underneath was dark so it made my nails 2 different tones. I immediately stopped him and said I asked for a fresh set of nails. He proceeds to tell me “next time I do”. Even after I told him this was not what I asked for or want and it looks awful he proceeds to try to make me give h a thumbs up and tells me $40 for a fill and paint. The entire experience from how they treated me to the shoddy work the did was beyond egregious. I had to go to somewhere else to get my nails fixed. As soon I got home my lashes coming off again I wouldn’t say I don’t want to say I don’t recommend this place but I would not recommend that technician she was very rude I don’t recall her name well I believe is Brittany . The first time she did my lashes and Eyebrows it was wonderful but I don’t know what’s going on with her for the last past two days she’s been giving me nothing but horrible service and I don’t appreciate that. First of all she insulted me as if I wanted a discount I don’t wanna discount I want my service to be done correctly that was very racist of her and very condescending. I have to be to church in the morning so can’t make it there I get out of church I will be speaking to the manager because that was unacceptable!!!! I have been going to this Jade Nail Salon for the past three years. Prior to the pandemic I used to go regularly with Andy a nail technician who did an excellent job. Post pandemic Andy is no longer there when I ask for I have been going to this Jade Nail Salon for the past three years. Prior to the pandemic I used to go regularly with Andy a nail technician who did an excellent job. Post pandemic Andy is no longer there when I ask for him. I get any technician available. I have yet to have a satisfactory regular mani--pedi. My last manicure was rushed and no attention to detail. She coated the nails so thick that it took forever to dry and there was no nail preparation before. They push you to try to get you to request the various speciality services including the fancier mani-pedi but when you decline they give you a terrible regular job. I once got one of the specialty mani-pedi but it was not worth it either. I also would like more sanitary practices. Angel Nail Salon in Dadeland autoclaves the equipment between clients. I give them a star because the technicians and all employees and polite and tolerate a lot of rude treatment from some customers . I will not be going to this Salon again. more ... less ...

I came in for a pedicure and I was planning on doing my eyebrows, however, the reception I was greeted with deterred me. As I walked in the lady looked at me like why are you here. She said nothing for a bit before she said I would have to take your temperature. She did then rudely said wash your hands. I felt like leaving, almost did. I should have. The ladies that were ahead of me , they started and techs made a big deal to wipe the chairs for them, they started my nails no wiping of the chair. To add insult, the ladies that started ahead of me and even a lady that was there while I started were still getting a pedicure as I was leaving. It boggles the mind how they are still in business. The woman (sits 2nd seat from the door) who i think is the owner/manager is the most bossy and rude person I have ever encountered. The instant you disagree with her she starts an argument as if she cant be wrong about anything and she will tell you that you can leave her shop while im certain she is cussing you out in Korean! Is she not aware of the many nails shops all around the area in under a 1 mile radius that are thriving...THRIVING?! She has a huge chip on her shoulder and she is hurting her own business and those she employees. If they want to be second rate shop, then they will BE as long as she is running the show. Sad! The guy who actually did my nails glued on the nail extension crooked and when I brought it to his attention he said my nail bed is crooked. I got my nails done 6 days ago and two of them broke another is cracked. My cuticles look terrible. I don’t do a lot with hands so there’s no reason after spending my money should my nails look this way or be broken. more ... less ...
