Dodie is great at reminders for appointments and overall communications. She also will do everything possible to accommodate your appointment needs, even when you are in a pinch. My family lived in Paris for 3 years, and Dodie would always work me in when we had a quick trip home, and she even helped me navigate getting my hair highlighted while in France by writing down the specific products and ratios she uses on my hair for the French stylist. He treats brown ppl like that because he can. I will never go in again. I might complain to the ethics board. I hate to do this but here is a warning from my experience today…Besides it being the most unsanitary nail salon (sitting in debris that stained my shorts, hands bare on the dirty counter on the previous client†I hate to do this but here is a warning from my experience today…Besides it being the most unsanitary nail salon (sitting in debris that stained my shorts, hands bare on the dirty counter on the previous client’s nail clippings, etc.), the technician I had could not even handle the most basic manicure. I have hanging nails and glue leftover from my previous dip. I left the salon with dried up acetone still all over my hands and arms and legs?? For a manicure?? I can’t imagine getting something that was even the slightest bit more advanced. There were a few technicians that seemed more experienced so maybe it would have been different if I sat at their chair. But who knows because I will never be back. more ... less ...
