DISCLAIMER: I DID NOT GET MY ACRYLICS DONE AT C K NAILS. Ive been going to C K nails for a while. Today I went to get my acrylics removed. I also got my eyebrows waxed by an employee who regularly waxes my eyebrows. The DISCLAIMER: I DID NOT GET MY ACRYLICS DONE AT C K NAILS. Ive been going to C K nails for a while. Today I went to get my acrylics removed. I also got my eyebrows waxed by an employee who regularly waxes my eyebrows. The man who removed my nails was very inexperienced others employees would ask me if I was feeling any discomfort? After replying yes multiple times , they continued to let the inexperienced worker do my nail removal. Another worker came up and told the other employee that was working on my nails that he was doing it improperly and that he shouldve done a soak off. The man who did my removal also asked me multiple times, if he was hurting me and I would replied yes every time and pull my hands away and he continued to remove my nails in the same manner. He made my nails bleed and used the nail file on my bleeding nails which was highly unsanitary. He also cut my nails at very different lengths.The lady who does my brows regularly messed them up today by taking a whole piece of the front of my brow.  I didnt notice that my eyebrows were messed up until I got in my car because the mirror was smudge and all I got was a quick glance. After all of this I was still charge for these services and was not given any type of discount , refund or recovery. All I got was a \"Sorry \". Went to LA nails with my daughter for graduation on 5/25/22. While my daughter was getting her nails done I asked the lady how much they were going to be. She replied $52 dollars which was fine. I get a call from my daughter to come back in. When I get in I asked what was the problem. They said the nails are $140. $140 for what not for this basic set. It’s a no. When I arrived, I was prompted to pick my colors for both my fingers and toes. I opted for gel on my toes and dip on my fingers because I rarely get my nails done and wanted them to last a while. I opted for gel on my toes and dip on my fingers because I rarely get my nails done and wanted them to last a while. Overall, the customer service was okay. I had one lady working on my fingernails and another working on my pedicure. I upgraded my pedicure to a spa service, which was not entirely worth the money based on past experiences because the massage was mediocre, however, I could have been vocal about that and wasnt as I try not to be too needy or seem ungrateful. I did explain to the woman doing my nails that I actively work with dirt (I own a nursery) and the dirt was visible. We both giggled and went on with the services. At the end, I inquired about the cleaning under and around my nails and she explained that it was only included in a manicure, not the dipping, as the filing machine cleans up the nails and the edges. As this is not my first manicure or even dip, I responded that I was under the impression cleaning around and under the nails is a standard procedure but she just corrected me and explained that its not. She then offered a communal scrub brush at the sink to clean under them myself and added, \"theyre not that bad.\" If the cleaning under my nails is an additional service/fee, it was not offered. I attempted with the scrub brush but abandoned it because its gross and I knew Id have to go home and do it myself with a manicure set. I spent just over $130, which included a 15% tip, much lower than I usually tip. I believe it to be absolutely unacceptable to offer a service where pretty color is just put over dirty nails. If this is a standard across the board, I am not aware of it. The fact i mentioned it twice should have indicated that my desire was that my nails be cleaned properly and a plan should have been put in place to accomplish that. I do not typically leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I paid a lot of money to have them look like this. (The crusty stuff is from the dip and is not easily removed with with scrub brush, if at all.) I will not be going back. more ... less ...

Star is literally the best nail tech that has ever done my nails. I had a full set done and was having issues with some of them breaking off after less than a week. Star made it a point of letting me come in and doing a full set even though it was late and they were getting ready to close. I can’t recommend her enough. If you are in the Brunswick area come here and ask for Star. You won’t be disappointed. (For people complaining about the wait, this is one of the best salons in Brunswick, if you want quality work then you’re going to have to wait, you wouldn’t want someone rushing your nail appointment.) more ... less ...

I feel a one star is too much. I literally just left the place 20 minutes ago and it looks like I’ve had this dip for a week. Let’s start with the “Deluxe” pedicure for which I paid $40 and was done in 35 minutes. She didn’t even cut my cuticles, and when I asked her to twice(!!) she said she’d get to it but never did. The “deluxe” pedicure was supposed to come with a hot towel service which wasn’t hot and more like lukewarm. My toenails were filed crooked and she got frustrated when I showed her and asked her politely to straighten them I’m out. She attempted to but they were still crooked. And then she gave me only a two minute massage. I then went on to get dip powder on my nails. The guy who did my nails had me soak my nails in acetone and told me to rub a paper towel on the dip I already had on my nails to get it off. I’ve been getting dip for over 5 years and have never had dip powder removed that way. I had him re-dremel my nails multiple times because the dip powder was extremely thick - the whole point of dip is for them to look natural. He got the powder all over of my fingers and then tried pulling it off with the cuticle cutters and kept pinching me. He shaped my nails very crooked and he tried to fix it but as you can see in the photos they’re still very much crooked. I’m embarrassed about my nails and will have to file them again myself. My jaw dropped when he told me the dip powder was $50! The most money I’ve ever spent on dip and the worst experience. The guy was nice but it did not make up for the horrible quality service I received on my hands and feet. Do not waste your time and money here. Go somewhere else! more ... less ...

Hands down the BEST pedicure Ive had in a very long time! The couple that own this place are so wonderful! My 9 year old and I had a girls day and they were so sweet to her. Well definitely go back.
