I was in the area stopped by for services. Let me start by saying I patronize businesses often and I don’t want to leave a negative review however, it’s IMPERATIVE. The lady pictured below treated me HORRIBLY upon walking in she didn’t want to help with finding the colors( just showing me where it was located), she didn’t show my sister where to get hot towels after manicure. I sat down with the selected SNS she grabbed it started putting it on the color wasn’t the colors. She refused to get them for me to show she just insisted it was the same. I got another color asked about design and she stated, “We don’t do designs”….At this point I was upset because, I saw photos online with designs which means you are providing, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT to customers! I have natural nails and she was being aggressive and rude like she just didn’t want to serve me. A white women walked in everyone in the shop stopped what they were doing to great her. I then inquired about my pedicure and she said I thought you didn’t want anymore. I literally was about to cry these people don’t care for black folks and it was made obvious. I’m sick of these people coming into communities making money and don’t want to serve BLACK PEOPLE! The very same people that YOU CHOOSE to offer services too. I then asked the guy that polished my toes what her name was and how long she worked there he refused to give it to me. Ladies especially my women of color do not go here! I always get great service. Ive been coming to this nail salon for about 7 years. Lisa does my nails and Mi does my pedicure.

The ladies there are all spectacular. I have taken in returns from online purchases and they always welcome me in and make adjustments to my bill with no problem. DT staff does not respect the peace of their clients. They talk across the room to their coworkers and often use their cellphones while working. Only one, well, 2 or 3 of the ladies are really sweet. Only one, well, 2 or 3 of the ladies are really sweet. The others are disconnected, possibly overworked or just plain burnt out. I used to love this place but since one lady hurt my nails and used scalding hot water on my feet, had to be on purpose ijs they do this all day everyday…I will never give them another penny. Lately they have just been plain rude. No one wants to hear all of their cackling…just be quiet. Where can you work and talk loud and/or use your cellphone while you are working? Poor service. They are rude and don’t communicate well. I went in today to get lashes and they asked me to take a seat in the back in the chair which no one was seated there. I had been sitting there for 15 - 20 minutes then another nail technician came over and ask can I move so she can take care of her client. No one ever acknowledged me after telling me to sit in the chair. If they wasn’t ready to assist me they should have asked me to sit up front until they were ready. I guess my money didn’t matter or they were to busy to assist me and if this was the case they should have communicated that to me. One angry customer 😡 more ... less ...

Service was amazing when my favorite tech, Tink was there. After COVID, things changed and I understand now being understaffed, but customer service should not suffer because of it. They are down to 2 good techs Emma and Service was amazing when my favorite tech, Tink was there. After COVID, things changed and I understand now being understaffed, but customer service should not suffer because of it. They are down to 2 good techs Emma and D, no one EVER answers the phone, young chicks that should be working the front desk are too busy playing on their phones, PLUS prices went way up. Emma did good work on my nails and I would pay the higher prices if the customer service was better, but I refuse to keep spending my hard earned money at a business where I dont matter and cant even get an answer when I call to make an appointment. Not worth it at all. Took a chance on a shop 5 minutes from my house and they were GREAT. They will be my new go to spot. Sadly after 4 years with Studio 138, I wont be returning. Ive been going here to get my nails done for over 3 years. It has always been a pleasant experience with great service. I moved about 30 minutes away about a year and a half ago and still travel here to get my nails done Ive been going here to get my nails done for over 3 years. This was my first time coming to the nail shop . I wasn’t greeted when I walked in just asked what I wanted which was a pedicure. The receptionist walked straight to the back to start the water not saying anything. This was my first time coming to the nail shop . One the guys clearly seen that was rude not telling me anything just walking off so he explained what she was doing which was obvious, but I sat down I always make sure I read the signs before I get serviced to make sure it’s no confusion. They have a sign that says “make sure you tip to avoid transaction fees” I don’t mind tipping but they really put up a sign tip or else you’re going to get charged extra fees like they already don’t add on extra fees as you’re being serviced. The cleanliness of this salon is very very poor I do not understand how they are still open ? Anyways a few days after this I called them to ask if they use disposable tools the lady on the phone acted like she did not understand what I was asking so I said , do your employees use metal tools on multiple clients she said “try again later im busy “ I took that as a yes … plus all the 3 women that were in here in the salon as customers looked at me nasty when I was confronting the worker about all the hair inside the wax as if “how dare she point out how filthy this place is” they looked low class and cheap so if your either of those come here and spend your money . more ... less ...
