My friend had a daughter who was very excited to get her nails painted this AM. She put her daughter in her lap as she laid back to get waxed. The technician started on her brows then flicked her daughter and told her to be still!!!!! Her kid wasn’t squirming around. And even if she had of been, you do not touch someone else’s child! Never, never would I have had the patience to just pay and leave. Extremely unprofessional place of employment more ... less ...

My daughters and I used to frequent Dalton Nail. However, after this trip today we will not return. The technician was rude, and basically refused to paint my toes the color I picked out. I have been here a few times and have had both good services and so so services. I went a couple months ago & got a gel manicure by one of the male employees. He did GREAT!! I came again today to get another gel manicure and it didn’t go as planned. I waited for a good while (which is completely fine). After I waited patiently for my turn, the lady began rushing. She took my hands out of the heating mits they use before they start a gel manicure before they even got warm. She began rushing everything. Didn’t file my nails evenly, and didn’t clean up underneath the nail at all. She began painting them, and it was completely rushed. Half of my nail was still bare. I finally worked to the courage to ask her to fix it (I hate being problematic in even the slightest way). She tried fixing it but still rushed while doing it. They then looked thick, sloppy, and had many air bubbles. I tried to see if it would look better at the end, but they didn’t. The lady asked me if I liked them, and I couldn’t say yes. They looked very bad and sloppy. She asked if I wanted her to take it off and she did. However, she never apologized or offered to re-do them and acted really bothered about it all. I was on the verge of tears because I hated having to tell her I didn’t like it. I just wish they put the time and effort in to do a good job and didn’t rush it that way neither mine or her time was wasted. more ... less ...

I came in one day because I had visited a different nail salon and was very upset by how my nails turned out, I called foxy nails and asked if they could fix my nails.They were very patient and soaked off my acrylic nails and gave me a new and way better set, they didn’t charge me to soak them off which I thought was very sweet. I had super high hopes for this salon. I’m a new resident to Dalton and normally have my nails done in Chattanooga. While looking at the reviews I saw that James was highly recommended. So I booked IN ADVANCE for an I had super high hopes for this salon. I’m a new resident to Dalton and normally have my nails done in Chattanooga. While looking at the reviews I saw that James was highly recommended. So I booked IN ADVANCE for an appointment with James online. I put down all the services that I needed and then when I walked in today they verbally asked me who I had booked with, and I told them James. I booked both a pedicure and a full gel set. I got my feet done and while getting my feet done a fly had gone into both mine and my partners coffee we both had with us. My tech was very rough with me as well. We moved onto my nails and the tech gave me an extremely hard time about the shape I wanted my nails to be. Which was pointed at the tip. He didn’t seem to like that so he would file it and then ask about it, and do that several more times. I finally gave up and agreed. There was no padding on the table so it was painful to set my elbows and arms on the table the entire time that he did my nails. (It left indentations on my arms) He was also pretty rough with hands and nails, and seemed to rush through everything. When I got done my nails had a very bizarre shape, almost concave instead of a natural nail shape, and the tip wasn’t right, I also had something strange and funky all around my nails. When I got home the polish on my toes rubbed off. I’ll post photos of it.The salon itself is in somewhat poor condition and isn’t very clean at all. When I got done and paid my 84.00 bill I realized that this man was not James. For whatever reason James did not want to do my nails so he made someone else do it. I’m not sure if this is due to my appearance or what (I’m heavily tattooed and pierced all over, bald, and my head and Face is also tattooed). My daughter and I went for mani & pedicure today as a fun activity together. I was looking forward to. The lady still kept telling her to open her hand. My daughter has cerebral palsy’s and it’s obvious in her hand. Then another came over when we getting ready to leave and tried to put the arm res tip but it came down so fast it got my daughters finger & tore off her polish and yet again told my daughter to open her hand 😡 and then tried to tell me if I got more expensive polish that wouldn’t have happened. Hmm you dropped the arm rest on her finger. So rude and our nails do not look good and for the price I paid I expect better. I highly\nRecommend going somewhere else more ... less ...

I am very upset I was told 3 days in a row they were closed at 7 pm but the website states they are open until 7:30 pm. I am beginning to take that very personal. The worst part was there was 4 employees working on 4 other customers but I was told they were closed because they had something to do . I came in for dip service and needed tips as well. The man who did my nails rushed through it and I have cuts all along my nails and he even cut the top of my thumb when cutting down the tips and didnt even seem phased. My daughter went and had her nails done on a Tuesday. She had her nails painted white, by Friday her nails were discolored and looked horrible. We go back and ask them to fix the nails. I would recommend getting your nails done anywhere but here! I would have posted photos but she had already remove the polish before I can get a pic. She was also extremely rough with her fingers and made two of them bleed. We normally don’t complain! But the service here is horrible. Don’t really know how they stay in business. more ... less ...
