I keep going to this nail salon because they generally do a good job. I always make an appointment, although that doesnât seem to matter. They donât have any control over their appointments, and I usually end up waiting at least 30 minutes beyond my appointment time.\n\nI came in for a pedicure, gel fill, and waxing. It was a horrible experience. I understand that the salon gets busy and it is often short staffed. If I make an appointment at 9:30 am, Iâm not sure why I need to wait, especially more than 20 minutes? I waited a half hour for a very poor pedicure. I did not have a chance to pick a color prior to my pedicure because other customers were using the color swatches. The technician did not apply any lotion during my pedicure. When she brought me the colors, she stood and stared at me until I picked a color. Then I waited in the pedicure chair for at least a half hour and was putting on my shoes when another nail tech came over and said she was ready for my fill.\n\nI really do not understand what the problem is, or why I end up spending so much time waiting when I make appointments for specific services. I told the nail tech about my experience, and she said she would tell the owner, but Iâm not sure how that helps me. I paid $95 for very poor service, and spent two and a half hours of my day there.\n\nAlso, Iâm not sure what a typical manicure/pedicure/fill includes, but a charge for cutting down my acrylics during refills? Come on! Shouldnât it be done without charge?\n\nLastly, the phone was ringing off the hook, with no one to answer. Yikes.
