It was my 1st time going however the staff is VERY warm and welcoming. I will definitely be going again.

She explained the nail tech had personal phone call that she really needed to take which is completely understandable, and I have no bad feedback for that nail tech. The detail she did taking care of my nails was awesome. Ms Kim CARES! And I can see why many people know her by name which isnt not a common thing in a business sometimes. And it just shows her compassion in her Salon. I know previously, I said she had a lot of older patrons, but she certainly has my business of returning now in the next 2 weeks. Thank you Ms Kim and her team!\n\n*Original post*\nIts okay. I came in for a nice spa day (mani & pedi) for myself. I dont think my request for the type of nail for my mani wasnt complicated (I went ahead and showed pictures of my request.) I thought it was a little unprofessional when the nail tech was on the phone while doing my nails (and because of that, she made a small mistake and forgot the colors I wanted on 2 nails instead she did 1) I didnt want to make a big deal of it since I already been there long enough for my pedi.\n\nLike most things, I came home and saw more imperfections that I may need to clean up now. I think if you want just a simple mani and pedi with your mother or older family members that are okay with simplicity, this is the place. I give it 3 stars on account the customer service was great and the pedicure was great as well. I noticed a lot more older patrons (Im no spring chicken since Im 30 lol) but seemed to cater to more of senior plus instead which is completely fine. more ... less ...

I have been going to Dream Nails for years - about 2 or 3 times a year, so not a regular. I had not even been aware they remodeled until I went in yesterday. I was seated right away and an older lady started the pedicure. They used to show a menu and ask what level of service you wanted. This did not happen yesterday. Instead the technician proceeded to do a salt scrub and then painted my nails. When I went to check out I was charged $30!\nIt could be argued that, with the salt scrub, I got what I paid for - but that was not what I asked for. I went in for a simple pedicure. In the past that has been about $15 - definitely under $20.\nI dont treat myself often enough for them to miss my business, but it is highly unlikely that I will ever go back. more ... less ...

My fiancee was going to pick me up surprising me with a dress so he could take me on a date tonight. I am a licensed master cosmetologist/Mother kid free tonight. This is not my first time at New York Nails however this is my last. The customer service is no existent. The techs literally barely acknowledge you unless they absolutely HAVE to. So, typically I come here to get a full set and pedicure. I called ahead and asked for the wait and was told 3pm. I arrived on time and immediately the male told me he could not do my nails (a fill in). I asked why not, So, typically I come here to get a full set and pedicure. I said that’s fine, I would like them cut down and square shaped.. then he proceeded to tell me the wait was an hour. Immediately I left. From being on so long.\n\n4. During my pedicure my feet were bleeding from him digging in my cuticles. And as he moved on to the next one he didnt sanitize his equipment.\n\nThe most decent thing was that my nails look half way decent.
