I went in today to treat my mom and daughter to a girls day. I was charge $144 and some change for all 3 of us. $70 for me, $60 for my mom and 15$ for my daughter.\nMy mom said she was disappointed with how her nails came out even though she kept telling her nail tech what she wanted but the tech didnt speak English and got very confused. (Im all for immigrants working because most of my family are emigrated here to the US to provide a better life for their families-- but please try to learn some English especially in a diverse work environment where clientele is mostly English speaking- itll make everything easier for both client and tech ((i still tipped her tech and the other ones who did us well)) regardless; my mom was not happy with her nails and just wanted to leave. My daughter (5 years old) got shellac (gel) and her nail tech had her put her hand in a UV light to dry and harden faster and bc my kiddo is so young she has a hard time expressing herself- she began to cry because apparently the device was burning her skin because they had it on the highest switch. At that point - my kid wanted to leave bc she was traumatized (her nail tech did shut it off right away and get her a juice to soothe her- i appreciate that very much) and Im getting my nails done as well so i couldnt go soothe her right away.\nMy nails look cute but i noticed after paying and leaving that one of my nails are crooked... Not too bad but i think what really blew me away were how expensive the service is here. They have always been pricey but maybe prices got raised.\nWe used to come a lot a couple of years ago so maybe it was just an off day because they were packed today. Staff are friendly and i know they try their best.
