I started going to this place ever since I moved to Des Plaines. Two days ago, I went in to ask for a refund because my nails didn’t even last me two days, i did nothing to break them, it’s the third time this I started going to this place ever since I moved to Des Plaines. Two days ago, I went in to ask for a refund because my nails didn’t even last me two days, i did nothing to break them, it’s the third time this happens so i’m thinking they changed to cheaper material. the small chubby lady that did my nails starts going off on me, throws $40 at me when that wasn’t even what I had originally paid for my nails and as i’m walking out the door, she yells out “f you” to me. How do you expect people to come back here if they are not even being treated right, I went in calmly and I was being respectful. Every time I would walk in there jennifer and her would always start talking in their language, they would look at me and laugh. How disrespectful. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! They always charged me $5-$10 extra dollars and thought I was never going to realize. HORRIBLE PLACE, CHEAP MATERIAL, and RUDE EMPLOYEES !!!!! more ... less ...

I called to get a manicure and a pedicure. I asked the price the nail tech said $40. When my mani started I was told my nails were too short i need to add extensions so now. The price would be $58. I was under the impression that would be for both my manicure and pedicure but when the lead nail technician saw I had fel on my toes the price went up to $93. Just be careful when you walk into this place. The only change I got an heads up about was the nail extensions. The other price changes where told to me after I received the service. The cutting of my nails were very sloppy. my nails were not even. The only reason I gave a star is because the pedicure was great! more ... less ...

She used powder to do my acrylics but she filed it so much that she messed up my shape. Also, she LIED about the pricing. She told me it would $42 and up. She charged me $50 dollars for the nails. I partially take fault for this because I usually pay $30 dollars in north west side of Chicago. Now I have crooked nails for my birthday and New Years. Thank you so much for service. But, the basic pedicure was $30 and not worth it. They literally spend at most 30 min- barely any leg or foot massage. The upgraded pedicure was $40 and also not worth it. I found New Age Spa institute when looking for continuing education courses. The price range for the class took 4 in 1 modalities was extremely reasonable and fulfilled the 10hr requirement. It was easy to pay online and the staff was super helpful.\n\nThe class itself was AMAZING. Miss Bianca was the instructor and she was not only professional but extremely knowledgeable in her theory as well as practical demonstrations. There was so much I had forgotten and she made it easy to digest and retain. I wish I could have experienced learning under her while I was studying fo my license. She was accommodating to my left hand needs and rolled with all the punches of me trying to adjust for a right hand set up.\n\nIf youre looking for a place to take your CE courses I 100% recommend. more ... less ...

It was so bad I ask him to just fill in the section to maybe fix it a little. He did a single coat and was also upset I ask him to fill it in so he took about 2 minutes to finish my nails. 75 dollars!!! I wish I could upload a picture of how bad my nails looked. Went in for the dip powder nails. The staff was super friendly and nice but my actual nails were pretty eh for the price. $50 and my nails are slightly lumpy and some cut at weird angles. Also my cuticles were very messy with not all of the powder being covered in top coat. Overall they look okay but close up they look pretty janky. I will say the nails are strong as after working with my hands and lifting heavy loads all day none have shown signs of chipping or breaking off. Tony and Henry have always been very polite and kind to me whenever I would go there and I am very sad that after 23 years I will no longer see them.\n\nI called to make an appointment for a pedicure this Saturday with Henry and a filling with Jenny, which I was looking forward to. Henry has always done great work, is very kind, and treats me like a good friend. I then received a call two days later from Jenny saying that Henry is on vacation until Monday, so he is unable to do the pedicure. I asked Jenny if she would be able to do my pedicure in addition to the filling. She was EXTREMELY rude to me and stated that she would not take me, she is booked up and that there is NOTHING that I can do for you and then abruptly hung up the phone. I was very disturbed by this and called back to see why she did that. I asked, very calmly “Why do you talk to me like this? Are you trying to get rid of me?” to which she shouted “YES” and then hung up the phone again. I was very saddened by this and tried calling back later just to clear the air. She will not pick up my phone calls or respond to my texts, so I will not be going there ever again.\n\nTony, if you are reading this, I will miss going to your shop to see you and Henry, but Jenny left me no choice but to leave as she told me flat out that she doesn’t make any money from me. Is that really how you treat your customers after 23 years? I once considered Jenny a friend and hoped that she would understand that I take care of my grandchildren now, so I don’t have as much time to come as often as before.
