My awesome hair stylist moved out of state (went to her for many years) and so I am looking for a new stylist. I called and Daniel the owner happened to answer the phone. I asked his recommendation of the best stylist at his salon for a precision cut, as some stylists dont necessarily accentuate that and rather focus more on coloring. This would be the time to sell your talents there to a potentially new customer. I have seen gallery samples of haircuts at different salons that looked as if the finished products were incomplete (wisps of hair out of place). The angry undertone in his voice and his abrupt demeanor and unwelcoming attitude just continued and left me speechless. He rudely told me that \"we dont use that word precision anymore.\" That was enough for me. Rocco’s has amazing pizza and great prices. I ordered pizzas and breadsticks for a party yesterday and they had it done on time and the pizza was perfect everyone at party loved it and asked where I got it from. Ive been going to Garnet Nails for many years. Branka does an excellent job. Ive had acrylic nails, gel nails, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. It was my first time there and everyone was so so friendly and helpful. They do such great nail designs too! Catherine and her staff were so accommodating when we had last minute appointment changes too. My daughter love It was my first time there and everyone was so so friendly and helpful. All the techs here are kind and do a great job. My nails w the dipping powder last three weeks. And I always get complaints.

Used to love it here. Not sure what happened. I got a full set of acrylic with gel polish. Every single nail has come off. I got them done April 5 and they began coming off on April 8. I’ve been going to Vanenzia Nail Spa now for about year and half been in Downers Grove Almost 3 and I couldn’t be happier with their services even when I don’t make an appointment and just walk in, I’m taken care of within 5 min and I’ve never been happier with the services they provide and how nice all the employees are. Sue does and awesome and fast job always. I’ve recently went to have a full set I’ve had them for a week now and look like I hat went to get them done.I personally will recommend this place 100% I gave haven’ti been able to go any where else and be pleased. more ... less ...

Update... Been going here for years. Decided to send my husband as a gift. Made the arrangements in person while getting my pedi and mani done. My husband went in for the service. They completely took advantage of him. First, they gave him another nail tech to provide the services (she didnt a poor job). Then she tried to charge him. Once I found what was happening, I called there. The lady who answered tried to laugh the mistake off. Im like no thats not acceptable. After the call, the tech then became rude and never finished my husbands services properly. His hands and feet are just rough as they were when he came in. After this, they most definitely lost a longtime customer. The only way I would return is for a refund. Completely, unacceptable to do anyone like this. more ... less ...

Great place for a manicure. The woman who did my nails, I am a horrible person because I didnt get her name, was a truly warm and genuine lady. She was very friendly and lovely to talk to. I wasnt rough with my hands either for them to just pop off. By the end of the week I only had 2 left on my hands. For the $45 that I paid they should not have fallen off within a weeks time. Then the owner had the nerve to have an attitude because I asked him to repair them. I took my husband with me the second time just in case hed try and get an attitude. Then he took forever to repair my nails. Do not go here! The owner also needs to empower his nail techs to be able to assist with other services except for manicures and pedicures. You have to wait forever for him to get to you for other services such as a fill or other services. Their furniture is not asthetically good. It is broken down and not clean looking like other nail salons Ive been to. I will not be returning at all! Just overall bad customer service! more ... less ...

They only care about how they look so that they can make more money! The loan company they partner with (TFC in California) is a scam.\n\nIve been forced to deal with these people for over a year. Theres sewage backups regularly, mold in their steamers, bugs everywhere. When theres cavicide (the cleaner theyre legally supposed to use) shortages (due to them not ordering it) they use other chemicals theyre legally not supposed to use. They run out of products and theyll use stuff not even suited to your skin. They dont help you if you have a disability or emergency if youre a student. If you go here as a client/customer instructors do not oversee the esthetician students (the people doing the procedures). They do as much as they can with the cheapest equipment to make the most money. Their machines are broken more than half the time, their towels, sheets, blankets, and robes are disgusting, torn, and stained, their skin care products are made so that they dont do much to your skin because theyre made for students to practice with and not be able to effect your skin. The only thing worth doing here is getting waxed at a cheaper rate. The only thing they teach the students to wax is arms, armpits, and legs so I dont recommend letting them touch your bikini or brows unless you dont mind being a guinea pig. The \"kitchen\" is right next to the skin rooms so if you come when theyre having lunch breaks youll hear everything loud and clear as the rooms dont have ceilings and are more like stalls. Everyone can hear anything happening no matter how loud they turn up their spa music (that they let advertisements blast through because theyre too cheap to pay for spotify, pandora, etc.). All their tables and chairs are extremely old and not healthy to use because of how uncomfortable cheap and unsupportive they are. more ... less ...

Since my nail beds are large, after gel nails they appear larger. Chico always shapes my nails so as not to look so big. I get compliments on my nails all the time.
