Salon stylist Harmoni Cayer is a liar and a thief. She has been cutting my hair for the past 3+ years. My mom broke her collarbone and needed someone to come to the house. My mom broke her collarbone and needed someone to come to the house. I reached out to Harmoni from A GoGo Salon to make a house call. When she arrived she convinced us we were using the wrong shampoo. She said she gets a 50% discount from a professional store called Salon Centric. She claimed each large liter bottle was $80 each or $160 for the set of shampoo and conditioner. Did not seem too unreasonable because the small bottles are around $50 each or $100 a set, so a set of large liter bottles being $160 was easy to wrap our head around. My mom wrote her a check for $480 for 3 sets. I told my other cosmetologist friend what a great deal I got and she said I should double check, it did not sound right. I checked amazon and sure enough $90 for the set. I texted Harmoni Cayer and she said they are defected products and never buy those. When she dropped off the product in a SALON CENTRIC bag I called the number and the sets are $60 DOLLARS!! NOT $160. $300 dollar profit. When I asked for a receipt she refused, when i asked for a refund she REFUSED. Once I told her I was filing a police report like magic a HAND WRITTEN receipt appeared in our mailbox, no invoice # no phone number, nothing. Just a check attached from SALON OWNER MARY MIRAKIAN for $5.00 in \"change\" what about the $320 your stylist stole. SCAM ARTISTS. please please please dont let this happen to you. What kind of people take advantage of an injured woman. I did file a police report and am moving forward in small claims court. more ... less ...

This place has my business from now on!\n\nMy first visit was to have acrylics removed. The nail salon owner took me with no reservation (I was pretty desperate) and had me sit and soak my nails for a while. She came to check in frequently and then helped get the rest of the nails off using NO METAL INSTRUCTIONS to further damage my nails. I have never, in over 20 years of getting nails, had them removed with no damage done in the removal process. I let marveling and she explained how she’s been doing this many years and there is no reason to use the spinning metal instrument to remove nails - it’s just so harmful.\n\nNaturally I went back when I needed a pedicure, and this woman was trained by the owner and was equally professional. No cutting of cuticles, beautiful job, clean, and gorgeous nails. Love it here!!! more ... less ...

I am disappointed because I don’t feel that my nails looked good at the end. My last nails chipped and lifted in less than 2 weeks and I came today with all my nails removed because they peeled off entirely. I wanted to give Hannah and this salon another chance but I feel the employee was rude when I asked her to spray more alcohol to prevent my nail from peeling off. I asked for quick dry spray and she quickly sprayed and walked away. I believe she was annoyed with me. Very unprofessional. I want my money back. more ... less ...

Loved it, went for a mani, pedi. very clean, welcoming, peaceful, relaxing chair message. I believe the owner, older lady was very professional and meticulous. Will return and recommend.

I had a facial and it was one of the best Id ever gotten. Everything was very clean and the facial was very European with real actual facial performed, not just a face massage. Cant wait to go back next month.

She completely ruined my eyebrows after I spent two months growing them out . So uneven and thin I almost left in tears, she was rushing throughout my entire experience (nails and eyebrows) . Total came out to $205, for two pedicures, a manicure and eyebrows . She asked if I was going to tip .. I said yes, to add $15 so it’ll be $215 and she said, “ $220 perfect “ and ran off with my card . I waited a month and a half for these services because I’m military and live near Iraq and thought the states would do a better job, but definitely wish I would’ve just gone back home . I brought my computer in for a broken hinge and he was very upfront with the cost, including possible charges if the screen were to break during the repair process. I was pleased with his transparency, as I was able to walk away with the minimum and maximum I could be expected to pay by the time my computer was fixed and prepare financially. He also consulted me on what could happen if I delayed the repair for any reason. I decided to hand over my laptop and it was repaired within 2 days. He managed to not break the screen during the repair and loosened the hinges for me so that I would be less likely to have the same issue in the future. I am very pleased with the repair and the customer service I received and will definitely be using Glenview ComputerLand services in the future. Highly recommend. more ... less ...

She is now at La Mode Hair Desi I have been going to Sanny for years and I love her! I get a Dip Manicure and Pedicures from her. She has recently moved to a different location in Glenview and I naturally followed her. She is now at La Mode Hair Design at 1811 Waukegan Road in Glenview. She is socially distanced away from others, wears a mask, has a plexiglass shield and she cleans her station after each client. I highly recommend Sanny! She is always so positive and makes me laugh.
