Emily was able to give me crown lifting layers while also keeping my long length and blending it beautifully without the shelf look! Also, the salon is wonderful. Worst place ever to go!!!!! Got an overlay on my real nails and they all broke within a week so now I have to regrow my nails all over again!!!!

I typically go to J and J Nails around the corner on Roosevelt Rd. They were busy, so my daughter and I decided to come here. I asked specifically about what I could do to my nails as far as when I get a fill today, sinc I typically go to J and J Nails around the corner on Roosevelt Rd. The woman and man went back and forth and he finally decided to do my nails. Midway, I realized he’s not doing a fill- just painting my nails. I ask and he said I thought this is what you wanted? No, I never asked for my nails to be just painted over. My daughters service was okay but nothing great. The place needs major updating and not sure if the products are sanitized well. more ... less ...

I’ve been looking for a new nail salon closer to home. I was hesitant to get my nails done here because of the previous reviews, however, I stopped in today and I am very happy with my no chip. New management is very rude- when I showed her a picture of what I wanted she got upset. Even though it was just French tips with a little glitter. If I asked her nicely to even out the white so it wouldn’t look weird, she laughed at me and called me picky. So I stopped. At the end, I had nail polish all over my fingers. Oh and guess what? I used to go here years ago and never had any issues, so I decided to try them again recently and it was awful. I had dipping powder with tips put on. I had dipping powder with tips put on. The tech started and he didnt do any filing/nail prep before starting to put the tips on. I asked and he said any \"nail prep\" before will be an extra $5. I thought that was odd because Ive never paid extra for filing before tips, but whatever. He was quick/rushed and my nails looked terrible (his fingerprints, uneven, splotchy). He fixed a few while I was there and when I got home I noticed small hairline cracks on almost every nail. I went back the next day and asked if they could be re-done. Instead they said they would file the top and put another layer of powder. They told me it would fix the problem, but clearly didn’t want to take the time to re-do them. Within the next few days I started noticing the cracks again and the sides literally started to crumble away. I called back on a Saturday and they told me they should last at least two weeks and to come back Monday for them to correct. Well, they ended up unexpectedly closed Monday/Tuesday. I went back Wednesday (today) and I explained I thought it was the initial application causing the issue as I’ve never had this happen. They said 4 should come off completely, but wanted to leave the others. I expressed concern that since they didn’t do this initially (as they should have) I was going to have 4 nails that hopefully look great and 6 that still look awful and now don’t match. Sure enough – that is exactly what happened. The owner agreed they do not match and said it is because the other nails were completed over a week ago, so the colors won’t match. Which she is absolutely correct – however, I went back exactly when instructed to and they were closed. Even so, we are still not even at the 2 week mark that they guarantee! This could have been completely avoided if they would have just fixed the problem the first time and now I wasted $50 + $12 tip. more ... less ...
