Find best hair and nail salon in South Elgin , IL

I went to to get a pedicure and a manicure. They suggested dip powder. They were about to close and everyone was rushing around me so I didnt take time to inspect my nails which was a big mistake. 3 of the nails on my I went to to get a pedicure and a manicure. They were about to close and everyone was rushing around me so I didnt take time to inspect my nails which was a big mistake. 3 of the nails on my right hand were lumpy and had huge gaps in them. I went back in the next day just for them to treat me like I was being ridiculous. They offered to fix them. However they didnt use the same color powder, the nail tech was super rude and they cut every finger they \"fixed \". Would never return nor recommend... more ... less ...

Small place with minimal choice of products…. They did not wash their hands between clients! I asked when I could wash my hands during the process as other salons do…. He kept going on…. He kept going on…. Ignoring my wishes. He put a small amount of lotion on my one hand and skipped the other! He put it on over the powdered mess left on my fingers without allowing me to wash my hands. I also asked that the nail application not be thick. I always get two layers everywhere else…he insisted on 3. He said he would sand it down. He left it so thick at the cuticle and got it on the cuticle, so that when it grows out, it will partially lift and my hair strands will get stuck in there when I style my hair! He left humps at the nail cuticle base…so it will grow out with a hump. I asked him to file with a thinner Emory board when he did the side filing…. Used a wide board roughly instead. The place is gross and stressful. One girl started my session… then left because she was tired lol. Another guy stepped in without asking me what I wanted. Also, they provide minimal samples…. TWICE, THEY DID NOT MATCH EITHER COLOR OF THE SAMPLE!!!! Stuck with the mistake UNTIL IT GROWS OUT ENOUGH TO DO ELSEWHERE AGAIN! more ... less ...

They’re great with appointments and very organized they’re good with simple basic nails but not the extravagant bling ghetto type if that’s what you’re looking for.

Kimmie is the sweetest person and did an AMAZING job with my toes and hands and Joanna (Im sorry I spelled it wrong) put the cutest finishing touch on there! Ive recently identified disc problems in my back so I was very nervous about sitting for a long period of time but Kimmie was attentive to my movements and made sure I was comfortable.
