I have gone to Nail Arts for years. Tao is wonderful nail technician at this place. He is attentive and skillful, fast and thorough. I had an appointment on a not-so-busy afternoon. The technician left me sitting there while she went to lunch at my appointed time. Another male technician shrugged and said “I’ll do it”.\n\nI thought maybe they just didn’t like me for some reason, but soon heard as he jousted with another mid to late 20’s female technician about other certain clients.\n\nThis technician was extremely dismissive to me…. And clearly did not care that I heard the way he laughed and joked about people behind their back.\n\nAt one point he sighs and says “I’m just so hungry and tired….here let me do a shortcut on your cuticles.” I asked him multiple times if he could just take a break to eat and then drink, but he barely acknowledged that I spoke. He grabbed a filer and zipped it across my cuticle causing it to sting. he put some clear liquid on my cuticles that burned. He said “Go wash your hands.” I came back from washing and show him that I had a Knick on my cuticle.\n\nI had to remind him multiple times to turn on the light to dry my gel polish.\n\nI would’ve just left, but it’s difficult to do that mid-process.\n\nI always tip, but that day I only wanted my tip to go to my daughters technician. Unfortunately I could not specify.\n\nIt was unreal. I can’t go back. This can’t be fixed by saying “we were probably busy” “but that’s no excuse”. It is not an excuse. There was no oversight and clearly these technicians cannot act recently without oversight.\n\nOn the other hand, Tao could open up his own place! He is so customer oriented and skillful. He seems to really enjoy his craft and has a joyful vibe! You may have to schedule ahead for Tao, as he is quite professional with his time. more ... less ...

Ive been going to Anne and Joe for years, following them from their previous location. The shop is always clean. They use prepackaged sterilized tools with each customer. Most of the customers who come in are greeted by Ive been going to Anne and Joe for years, following them from their previous location. The shop is always clean. They use prepackaged sterilized tools with each customer. Most of the customers who come in are greeted by name. The polish is fresh. My nails always look perfect when I leave. It is by appointment only so if you have an appointment, you can know they will be ready to start when you get there rather than having to wait on a walk-in finishing up. THEY DO NOT HONOR APPOINTMENTS!!! I gave it a shot but 3 times now they made me wait well past my appointment time. Last night it was 34 minutes!!! She took a walk-in a minute after I signed in.
