Horrible service - lady told me to come in at 8 for an hour . I get in lyft ($25)and arrive at 7:57. The lady then tells me that she can only do 30 min.

DONT. JUST DONT. I was just mid tanning there and they lost electricity. (Prob because they didnt pay the bill !) She went out to her truck to talk on the phone and left me and another girl alone with another older guy tanning in the pitch black. Absolutley pitch black. My heart dropped, I was naked in the bed tanning confused in the pitch dark. It was silent for a while a good 30 seconds and then I heard a guys voice saying \"wheres the circuit panel\". I still didnt answer because I didnt know whose voice was speaking. I thought he broke in and was going to molest me. Then I heard the other girls voice who was tanning so I chimed in and said I was in there too. I got dressed quickly and walked out of the tanning room. Luckily I found my phone and put my own flash light on! The other guy was just as confused as us, he was an older man tanning. He asked me and the other girl if we owned the place and we said no, at that time I walked out of the salon to find the owner/manager in her truck on the phone. God forbid she stayed in the salon and told us everything was ok and offered to give us a flash light etc. Ive never been so scared in my life. I went up to the truck and she snapped \"Ill refund you the 10$ for tanning\" and I said \"no you should have stayed in there and told us everything was ok, me and the other girl thought the worst and that a guy was in there who broke in and knew the two of us were in there naked tanning vulnerable in the pitch black.\" She had no comment, instead she got out of her truck , locked the salon doors and drove off!!! I hope this place gets shut down asap. more ... less ...

The execution was horrible. I was treated as an inconvenient distraction from her more regular customers. She could not be bothered to put the effort into proper shaping and filing. They were bad and such a mess I had to file them and re-shape them myself later. I hoped I could make it through until the next month but could not make it a week. Thats has bad they were. Extremely disappointed. Was looking for a regular monthly salon for myself and my daughter. Never again. Pedicure was done by another employee and was fantastic. more ... less ...

They have a big selection of colors in gel although not the nude one I was looking for, but found something pretty enough.\nThey also have matching regular colors for the gel colors. I asked to do my pedicure with very short nails, but didn’t get it as short as I wanted them. They were super nice though. The pedicure comes with hot towel and hot stones massage (that’s extra at the place in Quincy I usually go), so it was a nice surprise.\n\nGreat customer service. more ... less ...

Tom is my main man my nails never lift or break anymore . It took me years to find a nail tech that could do my acrylics and not have them lift or chip . I was hesitant about going to the Finishing Touch nail salon because of all of the poor reviews I saw online about them. However, I live a two minute walk away from the salon and thought that I might as well try it despi I was hesitant about going to the Finishing Touch nail salon because of all of the poor reviews I saw online about them. However, I live a two minute walk away from the salon and thought that I might as well try it despite the low ratings. I do not know what this place \"used to be like,\" but from my experience today it was pretty standard. I went in for a gel manicure and was pleasantly surprised. The manicurist was very nice and made polite conversation. The place is small, but had everything you need. I am glad my boyfriend convinced me to check it out myself rather than listening to everything people had to say online. I will be back soon, this time for a pedicure as well. My nails were well done, but I got cut 3 times. Sadly, I wont be coming back. The first cut was fine. I got an antiseptic? And then the second and third one. Im a pretty casual customer since I just like to watch tv, but Id like to know if Im bleeding elsewhere so Im not bleeding on my stuff later at the very least. My cuts were minor, but I have blood on my white lining jacket. Im giving the place some slack. Its a tough year and with the recent hate crimes at salons, Im not giving them less than 3 stars. But with powder it is hard to see the color except until the very end, so I waited.\n\nThe entire time, it was very tense, she kept moving my fingers in a weird way that I couldn’t even tell which finger she was picking up, so she kept huffing and puffing and was frustrated, making me feel so uncomfortable.\n\nShe drew the features of the smiley face in brown, not even black. My nails are already chipping and peeling lol. She even said “how do you draw a circle”. I politely asked if she can remove the nail art since she seemed like she was struggling, she said no.\n\nMy cuticles are covered, my middle finger is bleeding. My nail technician was too busy answering her phone call on the job and not attending to me, kept me waiting 15 minutes.\n\nMy nails were $50 and I tipped $10, so total was $60. I usually am not picky when it comes to nails so I was like oh well I am not in love with them but it’ll do.\n\nI need my money back, you could keep the tip. 1st time coming here. The place is small but clean. All the workers were nice and polite. I had Tina and she did a wonderful job. It was my first time getting my acrylics removed. It was my first time getting my acrylics removed. I will say the process is a little painful but Tina kept asking me if it hurts, to let her know. After the removals I did a full set of acrylic gel polish, coffin shaped style. She puts her customer first and always ask how they like their nail to be, after doing the shape she asked if its good or go shorter. She also had her sister take a sample of the colors i wanted and showed me what itd look like on those sample nails. Shes very thoughtful and patient it took maybe an 1-1.5 hr. I would go again! I have been to other places that I’ve gotten infections at or my nails didn’t last and chipped right away, but never at Lotus, they are so clean and do such a great job making sure your nails are done right and leave you looking fabulous!!! I gave this place a shot and within a week and a half, the dipping powder was cracking and two of my nails easily broke/chipped. Very disappointing for a $40 before tip manicure.
