I came in for a manicure and pedicure, please keep in mind these were not cheap prices. After I was serviced my bill totaled about $159 and some change. The young lady asked me to place my card in and after awhile of it I came in for a manicure and pedicure, please keep in mind these were not cheap prices. After I was serviced my bill totaled about $159 and some change. The young lady asked me to place my card in and after awhile of it loading told me to try again. For some reason I also checked my bank account and informed her the money was withdrawn and even showed her my pending charges in my bank account. She calls this young boy to help her out as she keeps on saying the money did not go through and I was charged again. This time declined due to insufficient funds which I understood, as I walked in there with a specific amount which had at this point already been withdrawn. Not to cause a scene, I quickly sent more money into that account and was charged AGAIN. So now 3 pending charges, with one refunded as it did not go through due to insufficient funds. I walked out and immediately called my bank and my thoughts were confirmed!! I was double charged and at this point had over $300 out my account\n\nThis is very inconvenient and if I could I would leave 0 stars. The 1 star I guess can go to the young lady that serviced me. Apart from that, I now have to wait after the weekend and hope my money is refunded to my account. If not would have to go through a whole dispute process with my bank. For starters I went in to get a full set nothing on my nails they were a little long and uneven but that’s why I came to get my nails done. The guy gets done filing them and I said could you please cut my nails, I wanted them shorter before I put the acrylics on if there was an up charge I was willing to pay it. He looked at me and said no you’re fine and continue to glue the nail on. That was my first um okay? And then tell him I want them short square and round on the edges. He cuts my nails to a medium length and says you can’t want them shorter than this with a lot of attitude. I told him I didn’t want them shorter because I’m not allowed to have long nails at work but I like acrylics because I think they’re more durable than gel or regular polish. He gets done shaping my nails and is ready to paint them and they are uneven crooked and very lopsided. I asked if you could please file them so they are at least even and he completely ignores me. I get it customers can be annoying but I honestly feel like I wasn’t asking for a lot especially because I was paying for the service. So I left with nails I didn’t like and then the next day they chipped. Horrible place honestly do not recommend going. more ... less ...

Due to an oversight on my part, I did not notice one of the watches was not working. I believe it was the battery. I returned within two hours of noticing and showed the watch to same personnel I purchased from, and asked for a return or exchange of merchandise. I waited 15 minutes while she checked with her manager, after which I was told “all sales are final.” I accepted that it was an honest mistake on their part; however, as a customer I did not receive the same courtesy. I received no apology that they sold a nonworking watch, nor did they in any way try to compensate, or do what would have been honorable under the circumstances. I would have given this nail salon 3 more stars for the otherwise nice service if the salesman hadnt been so rude to my mother in the last few minutes of our time there. The service was mostly nice at the beginning, but I swear after we paid, the salesman started being so pushy towards my mother.\n\nShe was drying her toenails after her pedicure, and started silently praying, and then all of a sudden he started recommending that her and I leave and dry her toenails outside instead of continuing to let them dry under the fan that he initially told her to dry them. Worst of all, he wouldnt let her just put her socks and shoes back on first and just told her to walk outside with those foam flats on to our car while it was still freezing cold. He got in her face trying to tell her that her nails \"will get ugly\" if she doesnt dry them that way and kept insisting that she walk like that outside.\n\nMy moms sensitive to the cold for health reasons and I really did not like how he treated her last night. It was insincere and disrespectful, especially since we were first time customers. He could have given her a couple of minutes to get it dry enough instead of being so pushy towards her. Seems like after they got our money, he felt okay doing this. Frankly it was uncalled for. Despite the service we got, just for that, we might not be going there again. more ... less ...

Its decent for getting pedicures, but I wouldnt recommend getting any acrylics from here if you like a slightly medium length

I drive out of my way to go Star Nails. Kathy has everything any person would want for their nails. She always has all the new styles and products. My favorite is Pink and White. Kathy of course has many years of experience and they come shining through every time I visit this salon. The staff there is so friendly, all such lovely girls. I always feel so relaxed and comfortable there. There are many stations and also many pedicure chairs and tubs. It is a pretty large shop. They also include waxing which I\nhave done from time to time. When I leave Star Nails I am always happy that is where I chose to go....Anne more ... less ...
