I wfh and only take care of myself. Why are 3 nails broken and 1 lifting already in 7 days!? A brand new full acrylic set with gel polish.\n\nThen the service. When painting my nails, as a nail tech with a shop promoting nail designs, I expect the nail tech to be able to freestyle nail art without me having a picture. I don’t care if it was just flowers. The nail tech acted as if she had never done designs before. I should’ve been able to pick my color and she do a design.\n\nNever going back just because the products are cheap and don’t last 7 days. more ... less ...

I told her to stop and that I was getting French. She replied, \"Yes French can be short\". I never told her I wanted it short! I didnt even let her finish...I walked out!\n\nI should have known something was off when online their name is Ann Nail but the shop is named AMC Nails!\n\nWILL NEVER BE BACK!!! more ... less ...

The atmosphere was quiet and I was able to unwind. I didn’t feel like other customers were ‘crunched” up against each other like I felt like in other salons. My first time coming here, staff was friendly, but my nail shapes were wonky, and the acrylic was very thick. My second visit, I really liked my nails, but the nail tech did cut me with the drill. Days later, I noticed the gel polish was spilling out over the shapes of the bottoms of my nails, causing it to look like I had glued on a nail that was too big for my finger. Also, my nails started lifting and getting caught on my hair/clothes/etc. My most recent visit was definitely the most disappointing. The nail tech immediately called someone as soon as I sat down. She seemed like she may have been yelling at them, but either way, she was extremely distracted. That was the first time she cut me with the drill. After hanging up on the person, she began talking with other staff and cut me with the drill again, but this time it was my actual nail bed -- she had drilled so much there was a divot in my nail that was now bleeding and extremely painful. She cut me with the drill one more time and then stabbed my finger with the cuticle cutters. We are up to 4 cuts now. On 2 occasions, I yelled in pain, and she said, \"Well, Im doing my best for you, so its okay,\" and kept going. She only wiped my cuts with rubbing alcohol after I told her the base coat prior to the acrylic was burning me. Otherwise, she just let my fingers bleed. Her filing was also very rough and painful at times. I wanted to ask for a design on my nails, but at that point, I just wanted to get out of there. I was hoping this could be my new nail spot, as its close to work, but each time, Ive come out of there with issues. I dont think Ill be back. more ... less ...
