Came in nowhere close to when they were closing for an eyebrow wax. She went right into doing the wax in such a rush. Didn’t even show me what they looked like so i didn’t notice until i left that they were half the size of my normal eyebrows and the space between is double the size. This is by far the worst nail salon I ever stepped foot into. Brought my mom here for Mother’s Day pedicures. BIG MISTAKE. Not only was the gentleman at the front super un inviting we decided to see how things went. This is by far the worst nail salon I ever stepped foot into. By 2:15 my moms toes were finally being painted and my toes hadn’t even been touched by anyone not even any warm water LOL! After over an hour I took the freezing cold towel and tinfoil off my toes and threw back on my shoes. This was far from the Mother’s Day treatment experience I was going for and I truly believe you could get better service literally anywhere else. There was no music, tv, NOTHING but the sound of people breathing. The place is just a very unprofessional and uncomfortable setting. I received no sorry, was offered no discounts, absolutely nothing. This nail salon is a joke. I’m upset this is the kinda of money and experience I wasted to give my mom a nice Mother’s Day treat. If you are looking for an inviting good experience this is NOT IT! Go somewhere else. more ... less ...

I didn’t even get me nails done because he was so unprofessional\n\nEven in your comment you are STILL yelling. I can’t make this up. I don’t answer my phone while I am driving. My friend already told you I would be late so there was no reason for me to keep calling the store while driving. I had to wait for you to finish her nails anyways. I actually arrived perfect timing because it was now my turn. And once again your salon was EMPTY. Also your were still doing my friends nails when I arrived. So either way someone was going to wait.\n\nThis was a Tuesday afternoon, the shop was empty. If I needed to reschedule that would have also been fine. The point is there is a way to speak to people especially if you run a business. Most people would agree that they would support a business with good customer service. You made a small situation into a big deal. I actually brought you a customer and now she too will not come back due to your horrific attitude. I looked through all of the reviews for salons within a 10 mile radius and Eva Nails seemed to have consistently positive experiences on multiple sites. Obviously there will be outliers, but the overall feedback was solid enough for me to give it a go.\n\nAlthough the place itself is a bit lacking in cutting edge aesthetics and equipment, its down to earth, casual, and the women there know what theyre doing. Theyre super easy to talk to, too.\n\nI personally had Anna, who did a thorough and precise job on my nails. I came in there with basically chewed up stubs (I attempted my own nails for a hot minute and lemme tell you...dont dive into that rabbit hole), needing the works - tips, dip powder, prayers. I was not disappointed and my wallet didnt cry ($55 for e v e r y t h i n g, 1.5 hours)\n\nUltimately, my suggestion is to not let the orange walls or the occasional negative reviews deter you. If I could I would have gave 0 stars!!! My two daughters and myself went for a fill and my youngest just got gel polish they were so rude definitely not kid friendly what so ever! We told them that they needed fixed the whole nails not even polished they didn’t take my daughters old color off you can see it around the edges of her nails I showed a picture and asked if they could do that design they said yes it looks nothing like the picture a 3 year old could have done a better job. The lady said I’m sorry you do not like but still charges 96$ for two fills and a 6 year old to get just gel polish. I made it clear I wanted them fixed she said they didn’t have time and still asked for a tip🤦🏽‍♀️ Will never be going back! more ... less ...

I highly recommend the spa pedicure with the paraffin wax, so soothing, warm, and relaxing. My friend stated that she felt like a cinnamon bun in an oven, in a totally good way! I was an idiot who forgot my slippers for my post pedicure walk (came in from another appointment and was wearing regular shoes) and they had temporary disposable flip flops for me to use! The nail polish color selection was amazing, and the ladies were a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommend. My legs and hands were glowing when I walked out. more ... less ...

I have been multiple times where I have had an appointment, have shown up on time, and still have had to wait 20-30 min. They will tell you that they have availability, and then sit you at a chair so you think you’ll be taken care of, and then you will sit there for about 20 min. They need to be more upfront with people. If it’s going to be a 20-30 min wait tell them, don’t just sit them there and hope that they are willing to stay just so they don’t go to another salon. I have not been able to find anyone in Frederick that does the Chrome ombre mainly because they dont have the color gold Im looking for. But he did. I was so excited and I told him I would definitely be back. I go in there today and nobody in there knows what Im talking about the gentleman insisted it had not been Him that had assisted me 3 weeks ago. But most important was no one attempted to find the product or really listen to what I was trying to say so. I felt very foolish very embarrassed and I kept showing trying to show them where the gentleman had gotten the product from. nobody cared or HELPED me. will never go there again not even to get a hangnail clipped. more ... less ...

Andy gave me the best pedicure Ive ever gotten. Soooo much attention to detail and they took me even though it was a walk in 20 mins before they were closing. Not rushed at all and took about an hour and a half. My feet Andy gave me the best pedicure Ive ever gotten. I went to Number one nail 💅 for the first time ⏲️ and had an appointment to get a pedicure, and also the young lady who pamper my feet was so gentle, caring, and so soothing to touch my feet softly. Margaret did my pedicure and energy healing today. The salon was clean and welcoming. The massage chair was very relaxing. She did a wonderful pedicure. It was not rough and didnt tickle(hahaha). Absolutely do not recommend. Let me start by saying I should have been more assertive in my communication and I regret not advocating enough for myself; that’s on me. The pedicure was rushed and the gel was layered so thick that one toenail popped within 1 day. During the dip manicure, I advised I didn’t want tips added and she told me that I had to have them in order to round my nails. I conceded and when I asked her to cut them down, she proceeded to roll her eyes and then filed maybe a mm. I politely asked her to take them down more and she huffed and ignored me. She cut me in 3 places on one finger because she was going so quickly with the drill. When I started bleeding she just wiped the blood off and kept going; I asked her to stop so I could wash my hands and she said no; she literally didn’t let go of my hand and continued. At the end (still bleeding) she rubbed oil on my cuticles (including the bloody one) and told me “go wash your hands now.” I did and when I returned she had someone else seated at her station with my purse sitting there- I wasn’t even finished. I addressed that and she said “oh here you go—“; she got a packet of lotion, squeezed it on my hands and said “you’re good now.” Again, I can’t believe I tolerated the entire experience; I honestly think I was so overwhelmed that I couldn’t believe what was happening. It was such a disappointment and even with understandably inflated prices, I was overcharged based on the discussed price of each service. As others mentioned, the cleanliness of their tools is abysmal at best. Please save your money, time, fingers, and toes- go somewhere else. more ... less ...
