This is the first time I’ve been able to wear my hairstyle this long. Great atmosphere. Professional. Organized. Friendly staff and a shampoo that falls only a few inches short of a full body massage. Geesh!

My mom has been coming here for years she enjoys getting her toes done here. I personally dont recommend it, when I get my feet done I like everything to be taken care of. Unfortunately I am disappointed with the services on me. Jimmy is a sweetheart, but they need more qualified manicurists in there, services are too slow. My nails are so raw brittle, weak from their version of no-chip. It has taken over 4 weeks for them to Halfway recover. Im sorry to have to give this review, and they are so convenient in the neighborhood I can walk there and I just moved here last month. I didnt know any better..I love the Obama Nature show they play on the TV but do not love my Butchered nails & the slow average nail service. I really love going to my neighborhood nail salon. The ladies treat you with respect and friendliness. They are very fast and efficient and the prices are very affordable. I love how they do my mani and pedi.

I was referred to the salon by a friend, but after today will not be returning anymore. In the past I have called the salon (as they request you to do so in order to make an appointment), however the person answering the phone… Which is to my knowledge typically a receptionist… Seemingly cannot make appointments for anybody in the shop which defeats the purpose of calling to make the appointment. This is especially frustrating when they don’t want to make your appointment while you’re in the shop. I have a job and I’m unable to answer my phone at the drop of a hat, therefore when I call to have a 2 to 3 minute conversation and make an appointment( especially when I’m there and my services come to a halt for others to do the same thing) I expect to be able to make an appointment. I called to make an appointment supposedly the supervisor of the salon made the appointment, and then canceled the appointment because the nail tech had a discrepancy with completing my service, and as a result the salon has now turned myself in my husband away from returning ever again. Previously when calling the phone was not answered, or abruptly hung up, so the morale is the employees have terrible customer service. Paul is by far the RUDEST nail tech I have ever encountered. He gets mad at me for wanting short nails, he tells you that you can tell him the nail shape you want but then gets short with you if you ask for a certain shape alteration, he refuses to do dip on my nails until I grow them out more; and I swear he discriminates against me because when I go to the nail salon, I tend to be dressed very relaxed and rather masculine. I actually tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and I came back a second time and he laughed in my face because I wanted to do a sparkle nail and expressed in the most condescending voice \"Ooh you really going all out huh?\". Upon being advised the individual I sought to make an appointment with had yet to arrive; I attempted to inquire whether there were any other technicians available only to have the phone hung up in my face —as I was speaking.\n\nI immediately called back to advise the individual of what had occurred (and based upon the response potentially make a second attempt at my inquiry) only to be met with an unpleasant, unprofessional, unapologetic attitude. The individual did however apologize for “talking fast”, yet quickly retracted that statement by saying “I don’t understand why I have to apologize for talking fast”. I tried to explain that it was not simply the speed at which she spoke; but the hurried manner in which I was being rushed off the phone; when I clearly had more to say. She proceeded to become angered/annoyed and raise her voice—at which point I knew the conversation was done and that I would no longer support this business. She would mumble in her language when I would tell her it hurts and added extra charges without my knowledge or consent. For my fingernails I showed her the picture immediately because it was for a wedding and needed to be thatuh hi style. She did a completely different model and told me it was too late to do the model I came in for. I ended up paying about $75. The next day, the nails looked old and were chpping and I still had a wedding to attend more ... less ...

Been going to Today Nail/Day Spa for over 50 years and have no regrets. They have been great. Will NOT go anywhere else. I go every week and i make my appointments months in advance. Happy group of girls.
