I booked appointments for my daughter and myself a few days in advance before we left for spring break this year. I had never been to Ada Nails but was referred by friends. When I called I asked about pricing for mani/pedi with gel and the person on the phone said $50 for mani/pedi.\nI asked twice about the gel for both and she said $50 both times.\n\nWe arrived for our appointment early and they took us back 10 minutes late. Both of us felt rushed through our pedicures as in they were racing to get us done as fast as they could. I was finished and they took me over to the side for my mani and my daughter sat there for 20 minutes alone in the chair waiting for someone to polish her toes as her person left her to go do someone else. Finally someone did her toes and then they brought her over for her mani. Somehow, we were done at the same time. So basically, they just polished her fingernails and no mani like I had booked for her.\n\nTime to pay and they said the total was $170 for both of us. I asked about when I called I was told it was the $50 each and how I questioned it twice. Fine....they were wrong. Whatever. I expected though our hands and toes to last a long time though since it was gel! My daughters nails peeled off before spring break was over. Mine stated peeling off the week after. So within 2 weeks our polish was more than half off. Ive NEVER had this happen anywhere else. My toes have had some start to want to peel off as well. So with a tip, I paid over $200 and received some very basic work. Will never go back again. And its not because of the incorrect pricing quote or the peeling polish....it was the rushing of our appointment times.
