I am new to the area so I tried 1st nails because my neighbor recommended them. I have never been so unimpressed by a nail service. They have a sign that says they accept walk-ins but they turned me away and had me schedule an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I still had to sit and wait for 20 minutes before they would seat me for my pedicure. I watched as they did not sanitize the pedicure station from the person before us. I was already kind of grossed out. I was hoping they would remove the callus on my feet which is the main reason I got their most expensive pedicure. I might as well have gotten the basic because that is what this was. They just scrubbed my feet and then painted my toes. I did not get the baby bottom foot I had been longing for since I moved here.\nAfter the pedicure I had gotten a full acrylic set. I thought their process was really strange because after he put the nail extension on, he went to put on the acrylic. He did not cut them until after he was done. It was harder for him to cut and it hurt when he was twisting my finger to cut the acrylic. When the guy was smoothing everything out, he kept getting the skin on my finger which started bleeding. The polish was very sloppy. The sides of my nails are missing polish. How does that happen? I would not recommend this place. They charge top dollar for a terrible and unsanitary service. I think next time I will drive the hour back where I am from to have my nails done professionally.
