Ive been going to Monica Morris for a few years now and theres a reason for that. As a little girl, I always wanted purple hair and never had the guts to do it until a couple years ago. As a little girl, I always wanted purple hair and never had the guts to do it until a couple years ago. When I asked to go for it, Monica was supportive and just as excited as me. I wouldnt have trusted anyone else to do it for me and it was everything I hoped it would be! Then, this year, when I decided to go from purple to blonde, she made it happen (probably despite what were not great odds).\n\nIm so thankful to have found some one who enjoys trying new things and doesnt shy away from a challenge. But, I also always take comfort in knowing that if Im asking for something that might not work great for me, she lets me know and suggests something that I always love and works superbly.\n\nMonica, thank you for being such a trooper and an absolute wizard! I had been to this salon once before right before they closed. They let me in and hustled me into a chair and told me it would be $50 for a pedicure . I figured she probaly was charging me that much cause it was ne†I had been to this salon once before right before they closed. I figured she probaly was charging me that much cause it was ne’er closing time so I paid it and got a regular pedicure nothing deluxe about it cold water rude remarks about my size 11 feet . And yesterday all the nail shops in town were full so I said let me give them one more shot. Terrible decision I walked in the door to three women working and one sat me down at the nail station I said I wanted my brows and feet and nails done she shouted $100 for the feet and nails mind you at this point I have been all over town and they are the only place with a opening. I looked at the price board and a French manicure is $35 and a pedicure was $40 for deluxe I was confused and she shaved off the one finger I had polish on as I was looking at the price board. At that point I felt stuck and rushed to make a decision well at least I will get a deluxe pedicure. I was rushed to the pedicure chair . Cold water waited for me . Used foot utisels were used the massage chair was about to fall apart. The pillow part was lifting up. 1 minute foot massage and a toe nail painting and off back to the nail chair where I was given a decent French manicure. But the filth Was everywhere. Tables were dusty and looked as though they had not been cleaned since last Halloween. Then off to lay on the wax table where I diddnt know it but the hot wax was above my head and as she was applying the wax it was dripping into my hair she slipped the wax on my face like I Was her. Enemy and once I got home I ran my fingers through my hair and couldn’t get my fingers through. I had wax allover my fore head and chin. $117.00 later and never ever again I can’t even explain the underlined hate they seem to have for the clients . Something is not right . Although my nails and toes look decent I will say that I am just appalled at the filth and the used and reused pedicure equipment she scrubbed my feet with the brush they use to clean the foot scrubber I was just lost and pulled my foot back . If you gave them the wrong insurance information, youve changed insurance, you were out of refills and your doctor is draaggiing his feet or THEY meaning the DR. Give em a break. They are also learning a new system since the pharmacy was just bought out by CVS. No I dont work there. I am however a customer service person. You dont do it for the pay. You want to help. It’s always a lovely experience and they’re very gentle with their clients as well. They do get busy a lot though so it’s best to come earlier in the day. They fill up quickly. So much for customer service 🙄. I immediately looked for another place (magic nails) and got much better service. Never coming back to this place. My friend and I originally went in for Mani/Pedis but after seeing the filthy techniques used here I shortened it to just a pedicure. The nail clippers, cuticle clippers and other equipment IS NOT sterilized between clients! In fact the man who did my nails used the tools on my friend first, rinsed them under cool water for two seconds and then used them on me! I have never seen such horrible practices in any nail salon in my life! Not only that, the nail files and pumice stones also are used between clients and all tools are kept in a drawer and not in separate containers to help keep them sanitary. I am shocked they are still in business with these unsanitary practices. Furthermore, prices are not posted anywhere and I made the mistake of not asking prior to the treatment. A $30 pedicure that lasts 10 minutes and likely will give you a nail infection is not worth it at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! more ... less ...

I had a pedicure and my nails would not dry, even after standing 10 minutes at the “drying machine”. I’ve had several pedicures and never had this problem. I was told it would take 24 hrs for polish to dry and I could not wear shoes, socks or sleep with blankets or sheet at night so polish could dry over night. Again, this is a first for me. I was also told they don’t do gel polish on toes, so this was my only option. Not ideal for a pedicure. more ... less ...

Anna helped me decide on length and how to frame my face- I brought a reference pic and it turned out exactly how I wanted! I didnt know some of the questions to ask, and Anna helped me with that- for instance, did I want to be able to pull the hair by my face back behind my ear still? I wouldnt have thought of that, having had long hair my whole life. I was nervous about how it would look to cut off 10+ inches but I know I made the right choice on a salon, because I am 100% happier with it than I even expected. Anna helped me with product choice- which has given me soft hair instead of the crunchy feel I had been used to- and it was easy to pick some product up on the way out. I must add that I picked Salon Nefisa based on the reviews here, which were on point- I wanted to make sure to get a good cut for upcoming business events! A different tech stepped in,completed my pedicure as requested, did my nails but she too still completed work opposite of my request. They charged me for a service I DID not request. Complete waist of time & energy. This is supposed to be a relaxing time. Even after calling & asking how they could fix the matter, they felt no need to resolve.. Upon calling & stating how they seemed to over charged me the individual who answered the phone completely gas lighted the whole issue by just sitting on the phone not saying one word.. They really failed to accept the responsibility. Could have been an easy fix. I will NEVER go to TC Nails again. more ... less ...
