Yesterday was my first at day visiting this Belk Location. It was blast! Justin was like my own personal shopper. He helped me pick out my favorite purse. This used to be my favorite place to go, but not as of lately. They have new faces that aren’t the most professional and act like those in the shops I refuse to go to. The last two ladies that did my pedicures were so distracted with their side bar conversations that they didn’t do as good on my toes. The last time I went I was getting gel, like always, and the gurl forgot to put on the top gel coat to give my nails that shine and long lasting look, but tried charging me for it. The prices seem to keep changing as well. A full pedicure with gel is one price from one person and a different price next time with another person. What’s really going on? Why not have a list of prices posted and ensure the workers stick to that. Let’s just say that was my Very Last time going here. more ... less ...

Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! Went in for a pedicure the guy was so unsanitary he left went to Pizza Hut and come back wearing the same gloves. I ask to cut my toenails and he said they don’t need cutting! He Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! This was my first visit here. I was hoping I had found my new nail shop. The service was fast and the price was good are the positives. But from the time I got there the tech that was doing my nails was on her phon This was my first visit here. I was hoping I had found my new nail shop. But from the time I got there the tech that was doing my nails was on her phone , never acknowledged me except to ask what I wanted, then she handed me off to another tech after she put the acrylics on, (some were not matched to the nail bed size and are too big) the 2nd tech was friendly but I told her I liked the nails to be thin, she put way to much powder so they are thick. Also its only been a few days and I have one already lifting up. I really wanted to like this place.... still gave them 3 stars because the shop was clean more ... less ...

I got lucky and got in today. She was super nice even though I messed her up. I don’t get my nails done at all. Have to say though on some fingers the dip wasn’t done all the way to the cuticles which on same f I got lucky and got in today. She was super nice even though I messed her up. Then some of the shape on two is filed oddly so it caught my hair when I run my hands through it. I ended up going somewhere else to get them taken off. I have been going to this nail salon for over 20 years. I trust no one else. They are now doing my daughters nails. They are like family.

I walked in and asked if there was a wait time. David, one of the employees, welcomed me right on in and sat me down; he immediately got started on my full set. As he worked on my nails, we had small conversation with on I walked in and asked if there was a wait time. I could tell he enjoyed his work & he did whatever he could to make sure everyone was satisfied and had been taken care of. While I was getting my nails done, I decided I needed my eyebrows waxed too. David said I could go into the waxing room & someone would be right with me. A few minutes went by & he came in & said “Yea, I do a little bit of everything” and he did an AMAZING job on my brows. For a full set with gel polish & my brow wax, it was $68 total. A little more pricey & more than I would usually spend at other places, but I didn’t mind too much considering I didn’t have to wait at all & how sweet David was during my time there.\nAll in all, I will definitely be back! & I highly recommend sweet David as your nail tech or for brows! more ... less ...

I went in as a walk in pedicure with 3 people. We asked if they had time for us and they said yes. I immediately felt like we were being rushed from the jump. My daughter was the first to put her feet in the water and was trying to tell me it was way too hot and the technicians fixed hers right away. However, mine was scalding hot. The male technician changed the water but it went from scalding to less scalding. Kept insisting I burn my feet in the water. Finally after getting the cold to come on, it leveled out.\n\nNext, we never picked our color out. We wanted Gel. Im not from Mississippi and I am used to picking our color out before we sit down. The male technician gave me/my daughter this color wheel tiered thingy. But then immediately snatched it back without saying anything. My step mom spoke up and said we still needed to pick our color out and we werent done. He hastily said \"Ill give it back in a minute\".... So Freaking rude. How about learning to communicate and say \"can I see that really quick, Ill give it right back\"....\n\nAt this point I was fed the F up. Thankfully I had a nice/quiet female technician. She did my daughter and I.\n\nMy step mom asked for a bottle water 3 times before she got one. She was patient and not rude.\n\nOne more gripe. I was upcharged without being told gel would be more, never handed a price menu etc. I was shocked to discover it was $110 when the signs posted in the front were like $38…..thats not right. You should make people aware of each charge so they dont get shocked at the front. more ... less ...

I wanted dip powder on the tip and I was told that you you couldn’t put dip powder on the tips and I know that is not true because I have had it before. *Not Worth It* The staff are professional but not exactly warm. I have a formal event Saturday so I made my appointment for the morning at 9:30 am. This is exactly why I have people repeat appointment times/dates twice as I enter them into my calender. Its just not worth the drive. Theres construction and downtown traffic. Add the fact that parking is quite limited due to the location of the shop. If youre differently abled getting in here could be a challenge. I can get the same service minutes from my apartment. The staff is better and parking is way easier at the salon close to my apartment. more ... less ...

After having a terrible experience at Neat Nails by Mary, I was put off getting my nails done for a long time and decided to try this place. There was a bit of a wait, but I didn’t mind because it was a Saturday aft After having a terrible experience at Neat Nails by Mary, I was put off getting my nails done for a long time and decided to try this place. There was a bit of a wait, but I didn’t mind because it was a Saturday after all and I did not have an appointment. Despite this, they still moved fairly quickly and got to me in a decent amount of time considering the place was packed when I walked in. A gentleman name Ronnie I believe (I hope I’m remembering his name correctly) did my nails. He worked quickly and efficiently but did not sacrifice quality. He did both my manicure and pedicure and was very professional. From the time he got me in his chair til the time I paid was less than an hour. I’m very picky about my nails and not once did I have to correct him or tell him not to make my nails too thick (like a lot of nail techs do for some odd reason.) He was also very gentle. Not once did I bleed or have to pull my hand back due to aggressive drillling. This place IS expensive, however, I don’t mind paying for quality work, done by a professional friendly nail artist. They also were very clean. They opened a new package of sterile tools for each pedicure and are Covid prepares with partitions and mask requirements. more ... less ...
