I think the place is very nice, and clean. They check your temperature when you enter and a mask is required to enter. I felt perfectly safe to be there. Loved going there for years! My stylist of 15 yrs stopped doing long hair. I no longer go there because my needs cannot be met. I was excited to get a manicure from Kosmos because of all the great reviews that I read. I scheduled two back-to-back appointments for my friend and me. I told the lady on the phone that I would like the first appoint I was excited to get a manicure from Kosmos because of all the great reviews that I read. I scheduled two back-to-back appointments for my friend and me. I told the lady on the phone that I would like the first appointment to be for 1:30PM. She got the time wrong twice as 1PM, and I corrected her twice and told her 1:30PM. Needless to say, I thought all was well with my appointment time because SURELY she listened to me the second time I corrected her.\n\nMy friend and I arrived at Kosmos a little before 1:30PM for our manicures and were PROMPTLY turned away because we were \"late\". I explained to the lady at the desk that it must have been put in the computer wrong and also explained the mix-up that happened on the phone. I didnt even get an \"Im sorry for the mix-up\" or anything. Instead, the icy front-desk lady told me that I was wrong and that they were at no fault.\n\nWhat happened to the customer being right? What happened to apologizing for mix-ups with scheduling? An apology (even without a manicure) would have gone a long way for me, and I would have likely given Kosmos another try. However, I guess my money is not worth as much as other peoples money to Kosmos. This all to say, I will not be going back.\n\nHospitality means a lot to me -- hopefully it will begin to mean more to Kosmos. more ... less ...

There were just some dipping colors but I was able to find one that I ideally wanted. The technician did an incredible job! She worked quickly but with precision. She would occasionally pause and asked me if everything was okay, which is nice because not a lot of manicurist do that.I was happy and pleasantly pleased with the results of my dipping powder and would gladly come back again. more ... less ...

Instead of soaking my nails and cutting my cuticles, T (I think that’s the nickname for the older lady), just grinded them off along with the top layer of my nail. I don’t usually keep fake nails on, but I’d say I will have to for a few months until my nails grow out. You can see grind marks in my nails through the acrylic. There are also some bubbles and some inconsistencies from a rushed job. BUT, I will say it’s been exactly 2 weeks since I was in and my nails are still in tact. She seemed great just can’t keep up up the pace of the people coming in, and only one other person was on duty. more ... less ...

The staff was great. My daughter was getting her nails done for her sweet 16 and there was no wait or appointment needed. The guy that did her nails did them exactly like the picture she showed him. My only complaint is at the end while I was paying and I was stating how my mom wanted to return in two weeks, one of the ladies said “you’re going to have to get a part time job” so that was an odd offhanded comment, which may or may have implied she didn’t think I could afford the services (which I most definitely can).
