I went to Shear Madness once every two weeks while I was staying in New Bern. I always went and asked for Kim. She gives the best haircuts. What a find!! Discovered on a walk a year ago and have been going weekly. They are true Professionals and a wonderful family. I would highly recommend the team❤️

I paid for the deluxe pedicure and powder dip manicure. The pedicure was “ok” and the manicure, well…. My hands never touched water. My hands never touched water. They came to my chair during my pedicure and the first person to grab my hand was a guy. He used the buffer machine to buff my nails and then he came back with the dip. Not only are my nails uneven, some don’t have enough dip powder on them….A second girl came back to shape and buff my nails. Then a third came and put on the gloss coat. Would be 5 stars but it was a bit pricey. Was $40 for a polish change and nail fix. No fill. Had come day prior for fill. Paid $60 for a fill with designs. Nail shape is on point. Very pleased with the results. They are busy, and Ive been turned away before when trying to do a walk-in. Id definitely recommend an appt. I absolutely love this salon. Gay (also the owner)is an amazing stylist with the best people skills Ive ever seen. She is always on point with the color, cut and style and manages her clients in a timely fashion.
