I booked Studio Vie for my wedding hair and makeup, and they were awesome! I knew it was going to be amazing from the initial consult in the salon, and day-of, it was even better than I expected!\nMary and her team were so professional - they got to the venue early, were setup within minutes, and listened to me and my bridesmaids about what we wanted for our hair. The ladies were friendly and so skilled! Cassidy did an excellent job with curling our hair and setting the curls so that they stayed perfect throughout the entire reception, and Mary did such an incredible job with pinning and braiding! She incorporated my accessories beautifully into the look, and showed my maid of honor how to easily remove my veil without having to undo any of the hairstyle. I looked and felt like a queen. My bridesmaids also looked stunning! One actually booked a hair appointment for the next week, right there!\nAmanda, the woman in charge of our makeup, was incredibly professional: she checked the makeup looks in multiple lights, cleaned and sanitized everything thoroughly between faces, and created looks that matched our style. She also was great at keeping on top of touch-ups! Its so pretty and spacious inside. This nail salon has SO many dip color options-more than Ive seen at ANY other nail salon. I have already been recommending this place to my friends and will continue to do so!

I have been coming to this nail salon for almost 2 years and always see Philip. I have always been a great tipper with him but the last three times I have got my nails done from him they are all uneven they all look diff I have been coming to this nail salon for almost 2 years and always see Philip. I have always been a great tipper with him but the last three times I have got my nails done from him they are all uneven they all look different and quite frankly they don’t look good at all. Today for the first time I spoke up and he got upset with me. First of all he was late for our appointment, second of all my nails were all uneven and two of them were crooked, and he cut my cuticle in two different places and I was bleeding. He gave me an attitude and began to fix one of them. Well fixing that one made it look completely different from the other one. So I finally said don’t bother finishing them I’m going to go somewhere else. He aggressively grabbed the nail clippers and started clipping every single one of my nails off and I said can you please be careful you made me bleed twice already. Then yelled at me and said he spent an hour and a half on my nails and I can leave, which was not true because he was late. Instead of listening to a client that you have had for almost 2 years now you get all upset and don’t understand that if I am paying for service I want them done nice. Even after all of that I still asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing and walked away. I’m so extremely disappointed in you Phillip! Ive been trying to go here and get my nails done for a couple weeks but every time i drive by their closed just about every day around 5pm. The place I went to before I found Queen City was just ok in the beginning but after a while my nails constantly broke, my nails were bumpy, the service was bellow average and felt like I was treated as a 50 dollar bill.. I came to Queen City today for the first time because I was very frustrated by my nails breaking all the time. This business exceeded my expectations! Not only my nails look amazing, they are actually all the same shape (not one thicker or bigger then the other lol) they were super friendly, talkative, clean, and they took the time and explained to me why my nails broke and what to pay attention to when I get my nails done! They have amazing Colors and designs and use high quality products! They won me from the first visit! This will be my go to salon for my nails from now on! Someone that gets their nails done regularly understands the psychology of having them done right! Definitely recommend!!!! more ... less ...

I decided to stay because a sweet, older lady named Mary came to assist me. Mary gave me the best pedicure, foot/leg massage Ive ever had. I walked out of there feeling like I had new feet. Great people! Excellent COVID safety precautions. Great place to get excellent pedicures and manicures with variety of nail services. Definitely recommend!

I treated my daughter and I to manicures and pedicures. I asked for a French on my toes but I got one solid white color.. didn’t complain and thought I’d let it slide. They rushed the one hour pedicure that they asked us to choose.\n\nI asked for almond shaped nails and got a semi circle instead.. with French tips.. they started out longer and she just field them down to stubs.. my nails were so thick and raised that they looked like 10 coats of polish were painted in. Maybe she was inexperienced? I didn’t like my nails.. I decided to give everyone (4 people) a 30% tip each but the women who cashed me out decided that wasn’t good enough and hustled me into leaving everyone a 35% tip instead.
