I had made an appointment for myself and my 7 year old daughter for a girls day with her. I promised her she could get a manicure and pedicure. When I called to book the appointment I clearly stated two pedicures, one fi I had made an appointment for myself and my 7 year old daughter for a girls day with her. When I called to book the appointment I clearly stated two pedicures, one fill with Kevin and a manicure for my daughter. 12pm comes and I’m waiting because they are busy which I understand. 15 minutes later I sit to get my nails done, I asked numerous times if someone was going to do my daughters manicure as they are telling other people to sit down. I watched them take numerous other clients before my child who was apart of the 12pm appointment. Had I known they were going to ignore her, I would have had her sit in my spot first. Now it’s 1:30pm and they sit us at the pedicure chairs, my daughter still doesn’t have her nails done. I am angry, so I now I’m asking when anyone is going to even acknowledge my daughter. Finally they come to do her pedicure, at this point I cancelled mine. They rushed through her pedicure. I told them forget the manicure and took my business elsewhere. They have no problem charging full prices for a child but don’t treat them equally. Disgraceful and disgusting to ignore a child who was so excited for a little girly outting. She had customers and I watched her accommodations them and they left very happy each one of them that came . I happened to be there most of the day because I was not a hurry I had no plans for the 4 because my family are all. Coming next week to my beach house!\nI can not say enough about the service and the way I am treated there. Sometime the owner is passionate to get every client serviced so she seems a little loud but not in a disrespectful way! She needs to run her business and she needs to be strict . So everyone get great service plus she stays on her timely schedule!!\nI also saw that day she had to turn people away because she was honest with the fact they would have a longer wait then they could stay. So she made arrangements to see them the next day!\nDon’t be fooled by some who don’t appreciate and amazing nail place . Here we are almost December 2021 and I still have not received my lousy $80 check. I wanted to take my boards closest to my home. The Brick psi testing center was the closest. I studied for 3 months to take my exam. On exam day, my scrap paper was taking from me and I was accused of cheating. I talk to a psi women and did my research. Youre allowed to write notes on your scrap paper that they provided during your torturial. Instead I was accused of xheating. Never in my life was I ever accessed of cheating. So I started to take my exam under that stressor. Then as I proceeded I heard lots of talking and laughing in the room where the proctor were. Then one proctor came in and out during my exam causing more of a distraction. All the elements added to my anxiety. Then finally, icing on the cake. They started vacuuming during my exam. Yes, VACUUMING while I was taking my exam that I spent over 200000 dollars in education and 9 years of schooling to take. Horrible experience and Ill never go back! more ... less ...

However my 2 stars is due to the experience I had yesterday. I had my appointment at 12 for a pedicure and gel fill. I arrived 5 minutes early and the 12:15 arrived right before me. The 12:15 was seen first by the same women who did our pedicures. Then when I was getting my nails done and the sweet girl who was doing my nails and was just about to start painting was kicked off my nails to go buff and file another customers nails by the owner Ashley. Ashley then took over. The other girl was going to do cute flowers on my nails and we had a cute design planned out. Ashley trying to rush as she always seems to be doing puts what is basically fireworks on my nails with a dot in the middle and called them flowers. I was already there for just under two hours because again I was seen late due the other women being seen first and didn’t have time to say anything as I had to get home and pack for a trip. And as the owner you should be able to see when your work isn’t good. I really wish the originally girl who was doing my nails didn’t get taken off just so Ashley could rush the service. more ... less ...

I was once a customer, however I needed a salon that did individual eyelashes so I took a hiatus. I was extremely pleased to see a sign for “eyelashes” on their building recently. I gave a call to inquire and the owner Kim answered, she was extremely curt and gave me a very over priced quote then proceeded to tell me to “go get some eyelash strips.” I have never seen or heard an owner speak so ignorantly and unprofessionally. Her lack of class and ignorance was highlighted in the matter of 30 seconds. I’ve been coming here for the last 3 years and the service has always been pretty good. The last year I cannot say the same and I’m finally in search of somewhere new. The last several times I’ve had my nails done by Vivian, who is on her phone the entire time, rough with filing, and removed my full set using an old acrylic nail and literally ripping my acrylic off. I had to hold back tears and was in so much pain I will never come back. I have red lines on my real nails that are visible through my acrylic from the extremely rough removal of my old set. For anyone who knows about nails, using an acrylic nail to RIP off the old nails is NOT NORMAL OR THE CORRECT WAY TO REMOVE THEM. Besides the horrendous removal method, my nails consistently bubble, are smeared and honestly look terrible. Definitely not worth 50+ dollars. Even when I’ve gotten gel nails, they’ve chipped within days.\n\nI’m sad to say it since I’ve recommend ruby nails in the past but I cannot continue to pay for nails that I’m so unsatisfied with. i used to love this place so i’m really disappointed that i have to write this. i’ve been getting my nails done here for quite a while and had nothing but good things to say up until a few months ago. they got i used to love this place so i’m really disappointed that i have to write this. i’ve been getting my nails done here for quite a while and had nothing but good things to say up until a few months ago. they got a new lady that they started giving me every time. i’ve been easy on her because i could tell she was new and she was trying her best. but my frustration grew as i kept getting the same lady that did a just decent job, while still paying the same price ($45-$55). but this last experience just ruined it for me. i got my nails done on saturday for the sole reason of my pointer finger nail was coming off which i told her as soon as i came in. rather than replacing the nail she put a tiny dab of nail glue. well what a surprise, it’s tuesday morning and my pointer finger nail broke. they lasted only 3 days. not only that, there’s left over black nail polish on nearly half of my nails which just irks me so much. all my nails are different lengths, and the design she did upside down. and now it’s tuesday night, and my thumb nail chipped. this new lady unfortunately ruined this salon for me. and one final thing, i got my toes done by this lady about a month ago and ever since my big toe has hurt, and it appears to not be growing. i messaged them and received no response. i included photos of my nails and what my inspo was. more ... less ...
