Alice, the owner did my waxing and wanted to charge me 200% more than what she used to charge only a few months ago. She kept telling me how hairy I was. It was insulting and rude. She did not even say thank you for coming or we appreciate your service.\n\nI spoke to her husband on the way out. He apologized. But, at the end of the day, they did not offer for me to come back or express their sense of gratitude for me as a customer. I went there through the pandemic when very few did. Now that the pandemic has become more manageable for their customers and business, they could care less whether I come back or not.\n\nPeople feel kindness and gratitude. That should be the essence of this business. And raising prices 200% for a service that I regularly get and then telling me after you have finished it is not good business.\n\nLast time, I came for a pedicure and you denied me. You said you could take me. This was when there were plenty of technicians available. I had even called before I came in. I usually go there for manicure since it is cheap like $12 for regular manicure. So I went there to get my nails done and I was planning to get black gel nail color but this lady (she is chubby latina) added shine that I I usually go there for manicure since it is cheap like $12 for regular manicure. So I went there to get my nails done and I was planning to get black gel nail color but this lady (she is chubby latina) added shine that I didn’t ask for and I said I want color! And she said it was too late! She never asked me if I want shine or not and I got charged $5 extra for that shine that I didn’t ask for! I didn’t get the black gel I wanted plus I get charged for shine! She was asking her boss for new shine file that I thought it’s just normal nail file. I know it is just $5 but I didn’t get what I really wanted and they charged me for something that I didn’t ask like hello!!!!? However, on a slow night they charged me $10, double the price in most places, to simply remove the regular gel manicure they had applied themselves while I take time off for my nails to rest in between manicures. Nothing extraordinary was done to my nails, simply removing the polish, and nothing was even applied to my nails to strengthen them or anything not even oil. Mind you the top of my nails are pretty stripped down from the rough filing. Quite disappointed. more ... less ...
