Will never set foot in that 7-11 again...Have spent thousands in there over the past 2 years. The owner will not turn off that moronic bell that goes off every 2 seconds when customers come in door. I went in because I had a broken nail I simply asked them if they would be able to replace the broke nail with red acrylic. While I’m trying to explain to her I don’t want the design I just want the red nail she told me to just get out && find somewhere else to get my nails fixed at. French manicure was $45 and the lines were not clean at all.. i Can see squiggles.. also i asked for square but my edges are round. Tina is great with my nails, no matter the shape shes does a great job. I’ve been going to this nail salon for about two to three years now. I am definitely not the best with keeping up with going every 2-3 weeks as I usually take breaks but every time I call to schedule an appointment, I’ve been going to this nail salon for about two to three years now. I am definitely not the best with keeping up with going every 2-3 weeks as I usually take breaks but every time I call to schedule an appointment, I tell them my name is Esi “like the nail polish (Essie)” and Amy always remembers who I am. I went in today for a gel manicure and regular pedicure for an upcoming wedding and sandal weather coming up. I’m always in and out quickly and my hands will hold up for up to 3 weeks before they’re very obviously grown out, and I’ve never had my gel chip from here. My pedicures could last forever. My manicure went perfect. My pedicure was also wonderful. I left in the paper flip flops they give you and drove about a half hour in them before I got to my destination and threw my flats back on. As I’m driving back home, I realize that the polish on both of my big toe nails had gotten messed up, likely while I was wearing the flats (not their fault, it’s a minor inconvenience that happens and is an easy fix). I called the salon and explained what happened and Amy said to come in whenever and they will fix it so I stop by on my way home. They completely removed the nail polish on those two nails and re-painted them. As I’m walking to the dryer, I accidentally messed them up yet again but I felt bad already taking more time out of their day so I was just going to leave it as is. The woman who originally did my pedicure checked on them and saw they got messed up so she said she’d fix it even though I was okay with it because it wasn’t as obvious and I felt terrible taking up even more time now. They made sure my nails were extra extra dry before I left and as I tipped them both again, they said not to worry but I insisted. I got my nails done with a friend on Friday. $25 for gel. We were taken right away but that was the only positive thing about our experience and I regret going there. My gel nails are now peeling. I wanted a design and I showed a picture but the nail tech needed another tech to explain it to her?? It seemed like she couldn’t SEE the picture- red flag number 1. She still didn’t seem to understand and she was older so I felt bad and decided not to get a design. Then, she couldn’t find the first 3 colors I picked out. I ended up picking a color I didn’t even want. All my nails are different sizes/shapes. The nail tech seemed to forget which nails she already painted so some of my nails have 1-2 coats of polish and others have 4 or 5. She got polish all over my skin, on every nail. My SKIN was peeling. The UV lights built into the desks don’t work so this nail tech had me crossing my arms to hold one hand to a fan and another hand to a portable UV light. That was uncomfortable.Their tools do not look sanitary and whatever they used before applying the gel burns so badly. I will never come back here. more ... less ...
