Dont mind the staining but I got a full set done just about a week ago and it’s obvious how much they are lifting and the air pockets. When I was getting them done some nails were glued on crooked and had to ask for them to be re applied. Also before and during the process I requested for them to be filed very thin and once the acrylic seemed to be ready for the color I asked again for them to be thinner and she (Nina) made a bit of a scene saying how they are thin and if she makes them thinner and they break she will not fix them. Which left me feeling a bit embarrassed for something that shouldn’t be a big deal. The actual polish was nice besides the crooked/uneven lines which i also requested to be thinner but she insisted that they would look weird but I did show her a reference photo which she didnt go off of. In conclusion I do not recommend anyone going to Nina but Tami is very good and fast, I also got a set from her a while ago and she pays close attention to detail and left me satisfied. more ... less ...

Yesterday I went into the salon for a gel polish change. I usually keep my nails one color, but I decided to be wild and get THREE colors, as I have a special event coming up. This is really quite a simple process: 3 colors, alternating on each nail. Because the nail tech, who didnt speak any English at all, didnt understand my request and confused some colors with one another (I politely tried to helping her out, but again, the language barrier), I was made to feel like I was a total inconvenience by THE OWNER, who has been rude and short with me in the past simply for asking if anyone would be available to do my nails. Exasperated over the fact that she had to intervene, she huffed, \"Ugh, too many colors!\" To reiterate, this is a common, simple request, one that I have made in the past with no issues at all. The nail tech was also rude to me, often getting frustrated because I couldnt figure out her system of how she wanted my nails under the light. While I can most certainly understand the frustrations of,not being able to communicate and sympathize with this woman, perhaps, the owner should put her on more limited duty until she learns a bit more of English. I have NEVER written a negative review about a business before, but I found this lack of professionalism galling. To be fair, my nails came out beautiful, but I will never return there again. I’ve been going to Hands on for maybe three years now to see Erin and she is the absolute best. I’m a platinum blonde and Erin always makes my highlights and color look flawless. Obviously they have grown out but you can only really tell in natural light - the color they picked for the base matched my nail color so perfectly. Always on time, does a beautiful job on my nails and i never feel rushed. I also noticed that in the past (before coming here), gel Polish would never last and would always peel. Never at signature! I do not recommend this place. My nails are very sloppily done, It is so thick and the very unprofessionally done. Avoid this place at all costs.

I recently located my long-time manicurist and pedicurist, Hana, at Orchid Nails on Route 33 East in Freehold. Hana has been doing my nails for the last fifteen years. She was formerly at Signature Nails in West Freehold I recently located my long-time manicurist and pedicurist, Hana, at Orchid Nails on Route 33 East in Freehold. Hana has been doing my nails for the last fifteen years. She was formerly at Signature Nails in West Freehold. As much as I liked Signature Nails, it was more important to me to have this service performed by this careful, personable technician with whom I have a rapport and long relationship than to try someone new. As a result, I made an appointment with Hana at Orchid Nails and to my great surprise, I found Ping and Anne who I also knew from Signature. The Manager of Orchid Nails made me feel very welcome and my first experience there was wonderful in every way. more ... less ...

They let me and my sister stand there for 10 entire minutes before coming over and telling us to come back later. When I said he told me to be there in ten minutes, he said he had room at one but he replaced my appointment with someone else almost immediately, instead of writing my name down and holding my place.
