At checkout I was very clearly told one price --the same price Ive typically paid for the 3 of us and the same price also heard by my daughters while they were waiting for their nails to dry. AFTER I presented my \"20% off next visit\" coupon (which I always intentionally present at stores after getting my cost), the managers facial expression changed and so did the cost for my services...my base charge INCREASED with a couple of custom entries after she reprocessed my bill in the system. The woman went on and on about the breakdown of this increased cost, but could not explain how in a matter of seconds the cost changed from what she previously said. I will not suggest that you do not patronize Kounson (although I will not be back), just BEWARE of the unprofessional money-making tactics. more ... less ...

I would not recommend going to Day Spa in Hillsborough! They are nothing but bullies! I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure and decided to just go for the manicure. When I said Ill just go for the manicure instead because they were telling me it was like 55 for the gel pedicure. To my surprise I was met with the response of well we already have the water running. A woman had just walked in and asked for a pedicure at that moment so I said then she can have that spot. After that I was treated like a piece of garbage. When my manicure was done they tried to convince me to go for the pedicure and they would reduce the price for me. Even trying to convince me that they had long lasting regular nail polish, I politely declined again. After that she said you seriously dont want it even after I just reduced the price. Im amazed at this point of whats going on. After I paid and was walking out the door in the loudest voices possible they started trash talking me. My polish is splotchy, my nails are uneven. Im never been treated like this in my life as a paying customer! Im not returning there ever! more ... less ...

A friend recommended perfection and she could not have been more right - they were able to get me in ASAP and the owner, Paul (I think) took great care to reshape and redo my acrylic nails and absolutely aced the design. He had minimal to work with but somehow worked wonders and understood what I was asking for clearly. He showed great attention to detail and shaping. He was also transparent about pricing throughout the process, rather than waiting til you get to the end like some other businesses.\n\nI also had a pedicure done by one of the women and she did a wonderful job. I was in total zen mode the whole time! Definitely recommend and will be going to perfection for all my local nail needs from here on out!\n\nThanks so much! more ... less ...

I went here today for the first time to get a hair cut. The wait times scared some people off with at least an hour wait but if youre patient, its good. Vinny was the one doing my hair that day as I wanted to get a short hair style for the first time. Vinny made me feel very comfortable and we had good conversation as he did his work. The mask mandate made it safer and he cleaned thoroughly between each customer. Vinny did his work very professionally as I enjoyed the end product.
