Find best hair and nail salon in Irvington , NJ

Stephanie was awesome! She took the time to make sure I got the very best service as it seems she does with all of the clients. She did a beautiful job on my nails, even kept asking if she was hurting me, I have very Stephanie was awesome! I only get a pedicure, and everytime I go there I am impressed with the professionalism, the friendliness of the nail tech, the experience they have, the quality of work they do and they just do a damn good job, nothing I only get a pedicure, and everytime I go there I am impressed with the professionalism, the friendliness of the nail tech, the experience they have, the quality of work they do and they just do a damn good job, nothing quick and hurried, like most of the nail shops in the area. I went to this establishment on NYE (12/31/2021)for a gel manicure. The color selection was nice and the nail tech didn’t use a harsh setting with the electric file which I take note of given i don’t do artific I went to this establishment on NYE (12/31/2021)for a gel manicure. The color selection was nice and the nail tech didn’t use a harsh setting with the electric file which I take note of given i don’t do artificial nails. Many techs would assume because my nails are long that they’re artificial and I’d have to state multiple times to use a less harsh setting. I had my nails cut lower and they didn’t overcut and did the shape I wanted. That being said, it is January 8th, 2022 (8 days later) and I’ve already noticed that the “gel” has lifted and peeled towards the bottom. As I’m typing the part of the “gel” that lifted has actually fully chipped off. The quality of the gel doesn’t seem to be the best for the neon color I did, but the gold gel is holding up. I will post a picture of what just happened. I noticed the nail tech didn’t fully buff off the previous gel color I had which I don’t appreciate and she was more concerned in her daughter (which is understandable but affected her attention) and talking with other nail techs or getting her phone. I’m empathetic about having to attend to her kid and gave her a tip because of that alone. I also love the color. What I don’t love is that I paid $30 for a gel manicure that doesn’t seem to be true gel and I may not visit again if my nails get worse especially since this was my first impression of the place. Mr. Luis and his staff by far do the best work I have seen! I would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

My nails did not come out the way they should have

I use to go here all the time for one guy and 2 times i went in he was not there so i tried a different lady. She chopped most of my nails off even though i just wanted a cut down. The. She added ALOT of powder at the top of the nail but none at the bottom and they were cracking, then i told her they were too thick because she did not use the machine to clean them and she wanted to add even more. The manager comes over and while i was explaining to him he saids “are you done talking” like what. I will never ever come back to this place. If i could give 0 stars i would more ... less ...

I have mixed feelings about there services, Im a frequent there ,the fact that I dont get same person to do my pedicure is the issue, lot of times they dont do justice to my pedicure but the owner/ store manager makes me I have mixed feelings about there services, Im a frequent there ,the fact that I dont get same person to do my pedicure is the issue, lot of times they dont do justice to my pedicure but the owner/ store manager makes me keep going ,she always approache me with nice gesture which I guess she does that with every customer.... the service is not satisfactory enough ,Im stoked with them till I get a better salon more ... less ...

Martha was amazing. Was looking for a nail salon in my area because I went to the brandon nail spa and they messed up my natural nails. Martha treat my hands and nails really soft and with a lot of care. Coming back :)
