I have been going to Christina for YEARS. Special occasions, me time, events with and for my kids. So much so that my oldest got me a mani/pedi gift card for my birthday this year thinking I would like to finally get bac I have been going to Christina for YEARS. So much so that my oldest got me a mani/pedi gift card for my birthday this year thinking I would like to finally get back into a salon.\n\nI made an appointment but when my kid got hurt at volleyball this spring I missed the appointment. Christina called to remind me which should have been a nice gesture. I apologized and explained that I was at the doctor with my kid. She yelled at me for being inconsiderate and when I told her I could not talk, she hung up on me. I get that COVID hurt a lot of small businesses, but I have done my best to support local all the way through. I was not trying to skip out and I would think my years of patronage would support that I honor my appointments.\n\nChristina will not pick up the phone now when I call. I stopped in to see if I was imaging things and I was not, she is not interested in my business anymore, told me I should have called her if I wanted to cancel. Yes, in a world where an injured kid does not matter I should have. I asked if she could reimburse my kid for the money they spent on the gift card since she does not want me as a customer anymore. She said no and that I was in her store bothering her which is further indication of why she does not want my business anymore.\n\nI will be following up with the better business bureau. I never write reviews, good or bad, but I live in town and I think it is important to spread the word. I just asked for my kid to be reimbursed for trying to do something nice for me. She knew exactly what I needed for my style and texture. I’m so happy with my new style, and I’m finally able to embrace my curls because they lay perfectly now! The hairdresser was not following CDC guidelines. Did not wear a mask, and did not require customers to wear a mask while getting serviced. People throughout the salon were sitting and standing around the salon. On top of that, the hair styling is awful everyone that comes out of there over the age of 60 looks like broccoli topped heads. I would not recommend this so called \"salon\" to absolutely anyone, not even a BALD man. Made an appointment for Sunday 10:30am and no one ever showed up!!! No call that no one was coming and no one answering there phone. Will never ever recommend or book them! Unbelievable
