I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews but I thought I would give them a try. The atmosphere was very zen with soothing music playing in the background. I was recommended this place by so many friends and I understand why. I came with my sister for the first time today and we were not disappointed! I wish I could give 0 stars!\nI was charged 15$ for gel removal and cutting my nails/cuticles when I was initially told that I would be charged 15$ for all of that plus a new gel coat. I went on 8/20/2021 to get hard gel removed. When I walked in I was told 10$ for removal and 15$ for removal plus new gel. I confirmed multiple times with the young girl in the front that 15$ would include removal and new gel.\n\nRight before the lady applied the new gel, the two girls talked and she told me that it would actually be 30$ for everything. I told her I do not want the new gel and will stop the service now. I was then told my total would be 15$ (not with new gel). Also, she did not even remove the entire layer of hard gel on all of my nails.\n\nShe explained that she was charging 5$ for removal (which wasnt even properly done) and 10$ for filing my nails and cutting my cuticles. I argued that I would have never agreed or let her continue after the removal if I had known the TRUE price. But, because I was MISLEAD about the real price, I let her continue after removal not knowing that it would cost me an extra 10$ for filing/cuticle cutting.\n\nAs I was leaving, another customer walked in and was told 5$ for gel removal. Dont forget, that I was told 10$ initially for removal when I walked in and later told something else.\n\nCompletely ridiculous to charge me 15$ for removal and shaping, without telling me prior to the service what the true price would be. They waited until that had already done the removal and filing/cutting to tell me a whole NEW price. I now regret not arguing with them more to get a fair price. NEVER GOING BACK. more ... less ...

Finally, Tina gets me, start filing down my nails and tells me to get a filling. I tell her no. I told her this morning that I wanted dip powder. She tells me that it will take too long and to just get a filling. I said I’ve had two fillings already, my nails are turning color underneath, they’re getting too long. I want these off. She’s goes on to say that she doesn’t have enough time.\nI was disappointed because I told her what I wanted that morning and SHE scheduled my appointment and gave me the cost of the service. Then when I arrive, I’m told she doesn’t have enough time to service me. This was a complete waste of my time, definitely inconsiderate and very unprofessional. They didn’t care about what I wanted as a paying customer but they cared about optimizing their opportunity to make more money by giving me a ‘shorter service’. The owner and technician didn’t value me as a customer and was possibly racial discrimination . I couldn’t help but to wonder if I were white, would they have sent me away like that.\nPlease note this was the second time a similar situation like this happened to me at this location. Will never come here again. I came here at 10:50 am for an appointment I made for 11. Somebody walks in at 11:30 stating they have an appointment and is IMMEDIATELY SEATED. When I say that I’ve been waiting since 10 Will never come here again. I came here at 10:50 am for an appointment I made for 11. When I say that I’ve been waiting since 10:50 the guy proceeds to tell me it’s b/c I didn’t pick a person and I have to wait a few more minutes. So then what is the point of an appointment? It shouldn’t matter whether I have an appointment or not. I came here the day before and waited 45 minutes and only when I got up did the guy say “oh somebody is leaving” ridiculous. I had such a great experience here. My manicurist was a lovely woman who even mended a cracked nail for free. Even though it was late, they did not rush or rude the job. I asked about soaking my feet she tried to just wet my feet I was so disappointed I got up told the lady to stop and I went to a different nail place.
